This is part 2 of my adventures on the story mode of the game ‘From Dust’
https://peakd.com/hive-140217/@demotry/hdhtswjd, link for part 1.
As I start to continue the story, I was presented by a ‘Chapter Select’ menu.
A total of thirteen chapters and I am now playing on the fifth.

Me and my tribe arrived at the fifth level, my first impression is- “It’s deserted.”
Hah!,
After I plopped down my first village, I noticed the trees weren’t growing. But I didn’t take long to find out why.
I then grabbed the totem for ‘Reflect Water’, I really don’t want my tribe to drown again. As my tribe was taking their sweet time taking it, I wondered… “This place is Desert Wasteland, why would you need—“. Underneath the sand, were vents of water…
At this point I understood why the chapter is called. ‘The Thousand Sources’. As I watch the puddle turned to a lake, and lake into a flowing river, I can’t help but notice trees growing near it. It made me… happy, and then calmness turned panic as I wonder how I would control the flow of water.
“Men cannot get across the vegetation.” But thankfully they can be buried in sand.
After making the third village, the ‘Exit’ activated and revealed itself, getting flooded.
Because I still want to get the 100% completion I took my time making more grass and trees by crafting rivers. And you know what. I enjoyed it. It was fun.
And now it was the time to leave. Using both ‘Evaporation’ and ‘Jellify Water’ God powers allowed my people to reach the exit.
It was time to move on.

“Wildfires” ...oh boy.
This chapter definitely amped up the complexity of the game as it introduced three things.
The Water Tree (movable at the start)
The Fire Tree (not movable at the start)
And the ability to relocate the village (YES!)
The fire tree burns the grass near it as the water tree released stored water that flows downhill.
Death by wildfire. Hmm what if put some water tree.
Nope! Death by drowning.
The only logical strategy here is to relocate to a higher location and place the water tree at a lower altitude.
And that's mostly it for this chapter.

“Waves”, I mean it’s not wrong but… Let me show you.
Before:

After:

The earth shifts~
And then me making a drain.

This chapter introduces the exploding tree.
Which combined with the fire tree, can morph non-god morph-able objects.
They’re definitely adding a twist to it. But not as amazing as the next chapter.

“HIGH TIDES” Now this... This is self-explanatory.
If there’s one thing I noticed before that is VERY significant now. Is that water erosion is real. AND I LOVE IT!
Before: Me making a Land bridge.
After: Not so much of Land bridge. And I just wasted dirt! (Thankfully in this level there’s a power called Infinite Earth which makes dirt out of air)
Just look at how the sea reclaims the dirt. Love it.
Here is to show you what it looks in low tide and high tide which alternate every few minutes.
Low Tide
High tide. Reflect Water looks amazing
I love how the grass made the dirt water erosion resistant, and it was fun making an island.
Well. This ends part 2. I got to say the chapters takes more time to complete as I play along. But it’s fun and I love it.
If you made it this far. hehe. Thank you for reading.
I really wanted to make better screenshots, but I just couldn't. O well, I mean there's nothing I can about it. for now atleast.
