A recitation of poem ‘Je Aamake Prem Shikhalo’ by Makid Haider

Makid Haider was born on 28th September 1947 in Pabna district. He was very interested in writing poetry along with other works of his career and wrote poetry from within. Although he is not as popular as other mainstream poets of Bangladesh, he has some very popular poems. In his various poems, love has been expressed in a very beautiful way. I recited such a poem here today. The name of the poem is ‘যে আমাকে প্রেম শেখালো – মাকিদ হায়দার‘. Here the poet has always wished his lover well no matter what condition he himself may be in. Here, along with the sadness of the poem, he felt happiness inside himself thinking better of his fancier.
