Ayer, tuvimos los 2 últimos partidos de los octavos de final de la Copa del Mundo. Vimos todo tipo de partidos, algunos de ellos requiriendo penaltis, otros con grandes victorias donde un equipo destruyó a su rival, y también hubo partidos apretados sin gran diferencia de goles entre los 2 equipos.

Ahora tenemos 5 equipos europeos, 2 sudamericanos y 1 africano jugando para ganar la Copa del Mundo. Los cuartos de final seguramente van a ser aún más emocionantes y no puedo esperar a que comiencen estos partidos.

Los 2 equipos con el mejor rendimiento en los octavos fueron Brasil y Portugal, y sería bonito tener una final de la Copa del Mundo entre ellos, sin embargo, creo que la final va a ser Brasil vs Francia.

Yesterday, we had the 2 last matches of the round of 16 of the World Cup. We saw all sorts of matches, some of them requiring penalties, other ones with huge victories where one team destroyed their rival, and there were also tight matches with no major goal difference between the 2 teams.

We now have 5 European, 2 South American, and 1 African team playing to win the World Cup. The quarter finals are surely going to be even more exciting and I cannot wait for these matches to start.

The 2 teams with the best performance in the round of 16 were Brasil and Portugal, and it would be nice to have a World Cup final between them, however, I think the final is going to be Brasil vs France.
