Hello my beautiful friends from Hive Open Mic, your friend Thibisay @dealtokilate greets you in this week # 152 we are invited by the theme "TRADITIONAL MUSIC" proposed by our featured artist @bertrayo talented musician from our beautiful community.
It is very gratifying to join this proposal of the week, since it fosters a reunion with our idiosyncrasy, with our traditions, with our music, which is certainly very varied in each region of our beautiful Venezuela, invites us to perhaps remember moments already lived with our most immediate surroundings, experiences of our childhood, as in my case that this week I bring you a beautiful passage that when listening to it moved me to landscapes that I didn't even know at the time, just like when I listened to the beautiful melodies of Simón Díaz.
The song that I bring you is entitled "PASILLANEANDO" whose author is José La Riva Contreras, in this composition life in the plain is described and made popular by the voice of the singer Antonio Heredia, later it was also recorded by María Teresa Chacín.
José La Riva Contreras:
physician, poet, musician and writer, La Riva Contreras was born in Guanare, Portuguesa state, Venezuela on June 15, 1922 and died on August 27, 2018.

recordando tus ojos
que me miraban, me miraban,
y aquella nota triste de tu canción.
Titilar de cocuyos que van dejando
impresión de mechuzos agonizando.
Chubasco que en la noche
va despertando, va despertando,
de su sueño al lucero madrugador.
Llanero que amaneces
pasillaneando, pasillaneando,
y a lomos del caballo
caracoleando, caracoleando.
Rebaños de ganado
que van pasando, que van pasando,
como paso las horas junto al recuerdo
con la ilusión.
The moon on the path illuminated me
and at the bottom of the pipe it was reflected,
remembering your eyes
who looked at me, looked at me,
and that sad note of your song.
Flickering of firewoods that are leaving
impression of dying tusks.
squall that in the night
It's waking up, it's waking up,
from his dream to the early morning star.
ranger that dawns
pasillanando, pasillanando,
and on horseback
snailing, snailing
herds of cattle
what's going on, what's going on,
how I spend the hours next to the memory
with the illusion
