Insisto en que no hay nadie en toda la América Latina que no conozca esta canción del señor Jose Alfredo Jimenez que ha sido versionada tantas veces, a tantos diferentes ritmos, pero con el mismo sentimiento orgulloso de tener presente de aunque se sabe que es quien se marcha no agacha la cabeza por lo sucedido y mantiene su rumbo a pesar de la dificultad de llevar lo que tenga que llevar en sus hombros y que a pesar de esto nos grita no solo con su cuerpo sino con cada célula de su ser que estando dentro o afuera, siendo pobre o rico, alto o pequeño no deja de ser el rey de su vida y se resiste a dejarse gobernar por el dolor.

I insist that there is no one in all of Latin America who does not know this song of Mr. Jose Alfredo Jimenez that has been covered so many times, in so many different rhythms, but with the same proud feeling of having in mind that although it is known that he is the one who leaves, he does not bow his head because of what happened and keeps his course despite the difficulty of carrying whatever he has to carry on his shoulders and that despite this he shouts to us not only with his body but with every cell of his being that being inside or outside, being poor or rich, tall or small, he does not stop being the king of his life and resists to be governed by the pain.

En esta ocasión fue bastante cómico de ver como durante la presentación el público acompaño con mucho sentimiento estas letras y ver como se la dedicaban unos a otros a todo pulmón, pero lo mejor es que la energía de estas personas compartiendo estos sentimientos era bastante positiva y se sentía un ambiente divertido en esta reunión tan amena a la cual tuve el honor de ser invitado.

On this occasion it was quite comical to see how during the presentation the public accompanied with much feeling these lyrics and see how they dedicated them to each other at the top of their lungs, but the best thing is that the energy of these people sharing these feelings was quite positive and there was a fun atmosphere in this meeting so enjoyable to which I had the honor of being invited.
