Por más lejos que me encuentre de mi país no dejo de recordar todas las canciones tan hermosas que fueron compuestas dentro de los géneros musicales que albergan la gama sonora de mi país y sin lugar a dudas uno de los que más presente tengo es la gaita de furro por ser de mi región, la reina de los géneros.

La gaita de furro se caracteriza mucho por su temática de ser muy regionalista y créanme cuando les digo que he conocido a muchisimas personas alrededor del mundo y que he descubierto que los más regionalistas hasta ahora por muchos son los habitantes de mi ciudad, Maracaibo.

Pero en esta ocasión esta canción no habla de las maravillas que habitan en mi región sino que hacen un homenaje póstumo a uno de los más grandes exponentes de la gaita, "el monumental de la gaita" Ricardo Aguirre quien con sus canciones expreso muchos de los problemas que aquejaban y siguen aquejando a mi región y en esta pieza compuesta por su hermano Renato Aguirre se nos presenta una obra llena de nostalgia y hermosura, que espero disfruten.
