Bladerunner Black Out 2022

I just discovered this amazing short anime film created as a prequel to Bladerunner 2049. I'm a massive fan of Bladerunner and I also wanted to experiment with editing a video.
Set three years after the events of Bladerunner the Tyrell Corporation has developed the new Nexus-8 line of replicants, who now have natural, lifespans equivalent to that of a human. The anime follows the story of a group of replicants as they attempt to cause a emp blackout in the city that will destroy all records and give them freedom.
It was made by the same creator who made Cowboy Bebop. The story and visuals are amazing and really capture both the Bladerunner look while also giving it an anime feel.
It has been out a while but I only recently discovered it and I really enjoyed it and would recommend checking it out if you haven’t seen it.

They are also creating a full series called Black Lotus coming out soon with the same creative team. I cannot wait to watch it!
