New Year Mall Hoping

Getting out from the Mid Valley city can be just as painful as getting in. Since we have parked our car, the most logic thinking to go mall hoping will be taking a light rail train.

There's two type of train system connected to this, the commuter is actually the best suit me as the commuter KTM train has a station couple hundred meters from my house. But this time, we choose to use the LRT, which we need to do about 30 minutes of walking.

Crossing from the mega mall towards KL Eco city is this river, it's one of the river that made up of Kuala Lumpur. Two muddy stream gets together, and this is where the muddy flow looks like. Wait until it rain heavily, you'll see mud level raising so high and you'll have no doubt one day the whole Kuala Lumpur will be flooded with mud.

From the KL Eco City, it links to the light rail system. I didn't take much photos of the train and the platform, but I've compiled some of the video clips. Particularly the last few portion of underground shots, suddenly reminds me of this:

I try to take a snap a photo of the Daya Bumi building, unfortunately the lens doesn't work with me. I think I can do some setting to capture a clearer picture, but now it was already couple of days late. The picture looks fine when viewing from my phone screen, hence I did not suspect otherwise until now.

This is the lady that I always feels like wanted to bear hug from behind. At this age, after going through so much together, for the best or the worst, I'm truly grateful to have her with me.

After the short train ride with the home minister and the boy, off we set foot heading to Suria KLCC. My original intention was going to make some photoshot of the twin corn stock, but after seeing the amount of people queuing up at the door for security check, we decided to NOT going out from the mall. Otherwise, we'll have to go through the pain all over again.

Petrosains was once declared closing. Am surprised to see it still surviving.

Christmas decoration is still there. Am fortunate enough to take this photo with very little crowd. It feels like suddenly they are aware of me taking photos and all of them went away.

Those blue color stripes on the wall are actually LED screens.

Trying to grab some food without having to get out of the mall, top floor is slightly less crowded, but there's no food here.

Decided to crash into ISETAN, trying to grab something simple for the kid.

Home minister went and bought a donut for the boy, whilst we're standing by the side and start counting how many people are actually here
for window shopping.

There's absolutely no space for us to sit down, and the boy needs to eat. We decided to head to Avenue-K, yes another mall right opposite of the KLCC, but connected with the train platform.

Ordered a cup of Dalgona chocolate, at least we get to sit down and drink and also let the boy eat his food.

After food, we are done and ready to go back to Mid Valley. Before that, went to the loo and take a leak, so we don't leak IN the train.

That pretty much sum up the new year day. Closing meal is Sushi King, yet another mall nearby our house.
