    Hola chicos. Esta es mi primera publicaci贸n en esta comunidad maravillosa. Una historia que quer铆a contar hace a帽os. De hecho, tuve que revisar todo mi historial de publicaciones porque no recordaba si la hab铆a publicado. Fueron tantas veces pensando c贸mo contarla que cre铆a que ya lo hab铆a hecho.

    Esta publicaci贸n trata sobre lo aprendido en mi corto tiempo como maratonista. En este momento tengo 4 a帽os sin correr de forma seria. Desde mi 煤ltimo marat贸n. Esto fue primero debido a la crisis econ贸mica que viv铆, por lo que no ten铆a recursos para inscribirme en carreras. Adem谩s adelgac茅 mucho; algo que incluso ya suced铆a en esa 煤ltima carrera.

    Cuando la crisis pas贸 y la situaci贸n financiera mejor贸 gracias a esta plataforma; lleg贸 la pandemia y se terminaron las carreras. Sin embargo este post no es de este tema, sino de c贸mo logr茅 bajar el tiempo de una forma impresionante, con solo entrenamiento mental.

    This post is about what I learned in my short time as a marathoner. At this point I have 4 years without serious running. Since my last marathon. This was first due to the economic crisis I lived through, so I didn't have the resources to sign up for races. I also lost a lot of weight; something that was already happening in that last race.

    When the crisis passed and the financial situation improved thanks to this platform; the pandemic arrived and the races were over. However this post is not about this topic, but about how I managed to lower my time in an impressive way, with only mental training.

    Un Curso De Milagros Transform贸 mis Pensamientos - A Course In Miracles Transformed My Thoughts

    Unas semanas antes de mi primer marat贸n, comenc茅 a practicar Un Curso De Milagros (UCDM), el cual realiz贸 grandes cambios en m铆. El primero fue justo en relaci贸n a mi salud f铆sica.

    Ten铆a un dolor permanente el en tal贸n derecho. Entrenaba con el dolor, a veces me incomodaba mucho y otras casi no lo sent铆a mientras corr铆a. Sent铆a miedo de no poder terminar los 42 kil贸metros. En mi entrenamiento solo llegu茅 a correr 30K.

    Ten铆a muy pocos d铆as en UCDM, aunque sab铆a que todo dolor f铆sico viene de un dolor emocional que a su vez proviene de un pensamiento. En el Curso lo llamamos "Pensamientos Dementes".

    A pesar de la poca experiencia en el curso; el d铆a de la carrera lleg贸 y el dolo desapareci贸. Desde ese d铆a de 2016 no me ha vuelto a doler.

    A few weeks before my first marathon, I started practicing A Course In Miracles (ACIM), which made big changes in me. The first one was just in relation to my physical health.

    I had a permanent pain in my right heel. I was training with the pain, sometimes it was very uncomfortable and sometimes I hardly felt it while running. I was afraid that I would not be able to finish the 42 kilometers. In my training I only managed to run 30K.

    I had very few days in ACIM, although I knew that all physical pain comes from an emotional pain that in turn comes from a thought. In the Course we call it "Insane Thoughts".

    Despite the little experience in the course; the day of the race came and the pain disappeared. Since that day in 2016 it has not hurt again.

    Un a帽o despu茅s llegar铆a la nueva edici贸n del marat贸n CAF. Ten铆a que superar la marca de 5 horas y 43 minutos (Una eternidad). Lo hice con 52 minutos menos y con el mismo entrenamiento que hace un a帽o, pero sin miedos.

    A year later, the new edition of the CAF marathon arrived. I had to beat the mark of 5 hours and 43 minutes (an eternity). I did it with 52 minutes less and with the same training as a year ago, but without fears.
