Amigos de Sound Music después de saludarlos y desearles bienestar y mucha salud quiero hablarles de esta canción tan maravillosa del gran maestro cubano Silvio Rodríguez. El origen de esta canción se remonta a un concierto que dio Silvio en Argentina, donde, al parecer, mucha gente se tuvo que quedar fuera porque no tenían posibilidades económicas para pagar la entrada. Entonces decidió escribir una canción para los que no podían escucharle. Termina defendiendo lo mismo. Dedica su canción a todos esos que no tienen posibilidades. Y que su lucha ya es suficientemente digna como para merecer una canción.

Creo que en esta letra Silvio ha tocado la sensibilidad humana, no solo porque dedica su letra a los seres con bajos recursos y hace énfasis en aquellos que en celebración de navidad por diferentes circunstancias no tienen como celebrar bien las navidades, y resalta humildad con la frase "Unos festejan sus millones, otros la camisita limpia, y hay quien no sabe que es brindar" En mi opinión esta letra es una obra de arte.

Es importante resaltar que decidí cantar en esta canción de navidad que no es un aguinaldo venezolano, o un villancico tradicional, pero esta letra me marcó desde la primera vez que la escuché y tiene mucho significado para mi. Desde que tengo razón de ser siempre he visto a mi alrededor, preguntándome porque hay tantas desigualdad entre los seres humanos, porque hay tanta diferencia o distancia entre pobres y ricos, si Dios nos hizo a su imagen y semejanza. Espero disfruten de este trabajo.
