¡Ganamos un concurso para un día de parque en familia! [SPA/ENG]

Hace poco mientras íbamos en el carro escuchando un programa en la radio, en una de las secciones del programa inicio un concurso, el premio eran entradas para un parque que había sido renovado para los carnavales. Nuestros hijos, locos por ir, nos pidieron que participáramos en el concurso, así que mientras íbamos en el carro llamamos a la radio mi esposa, mi hijo mayor y yo, resultado ganadores los 3 con dos entradas para cada uno.

Recently while we were in the car listening to a program on the radio, one of the sections of the program started a contest, the prize was tickets to a park that had been renovated for the carnivals. Our children, crazy to go, asked us to participate in the contest, so while we were in the car we called the radio station my wife, my oldest son and I, and the 3 of us were the winners with two tickets for each of us.

Nos alegramos muchísimo, los niños estaban muy emocionados, además tenía mucho tiempo que no ganaba un concurso o rifa, y me alegraba poder llevar a los niños a distraerse. Solo debíamos presentarnos en el parque, dar nuestros nombres y número telefónico que fueron los datos que nos pidieron en la emisora de radio, así que pautamos ir esa misma tarde.

We were very happy, the children were very excited, besides, it had been a long time since I had won a contest or raffle, and I was happy to be able to take the children to distract them. All we had to do was show up at the park, give our names and phone number, which was the information the radio station asked us for, so we decided to go that same afternoon.

Es un parque ubicado al sur de la ciudad de Valencia en el estado Carabobo, Venezuela. Originalmente fueron áreas verdes de esparcimiento, pero fueron retomadas para colocar atracciones mecánicas, circo, granja de contacto, pequeños restaurantes de comida rápida, votes de pedales, entre otros.

It is a park located south of the city of Valencia in the state of Carabobo, Venezuela. Originally they were green areas for recreation, but were retaken to place mechanical attractions, circus, contact farm, small fast food restaurants, pedal votes, among others.

Estuvimos aproximadamente 6 horas y no alcanzamos a subirnos en todas las atracciones, en parte por ser grande, pero mas que todo porque los niños repetían en sus favoritas, como el tobogán, los carros chocones, los caballos de paseo y una pequeña montaña rusa que se conoce acá como el gusanito.

We stayed approximately 6 hours and did not get to ride all the attractions, partly because it was too big, but mostly because the kids kept repeating their favorites, such as the slide, the bumper cars, the ride horses and a small roller coaster known here as the little worm.

También tuvimos la oportunidad de entrar en el circo, una corta función de 30 minutos con actos sencillos pero divertidos, eso sí, ninguno que involucrara animales porque como familia estamos en contra de ese tipo de circos, y luego de asegurarnos que fuese así, entramos. Me llamaba la atención que repetían la función una y otra vez, para que tuvieras la oportunidad a cualquier hora poder presenciarla, realmente admirable el trabajo de estas personas.

We also had the opportunity to enter the circus, a short 30 minute show with simple but fun acts, of course, none involving animals because as a family we are against this type of circus, and after making sure it was so, we entered. I was struck by the fact that they repeated the show over and over again, so that you had the opportunity to watch it at any time, really admirable work of these people.

La decoración y ambientación es muy buena, los niños inmediatamente se emocionan al ver muchos personajes de sus películas animadas favoritas, ya que transitan el parque personal disfrazado que anima a las personas para mantener el ambiente de alegría. De noche es mucho mas espectacular gracias a las luces que utilizaron para decorar.

The decoration and ambiance is very good, the children are immediately excited to see many characters from their favorite animated movies, as they walk through the park dressed in costumes that encourage people to keep the atmosphere of joy. At night it is much more spectacular thanks to the lights that were used to decorate.

Para disfrutar de cada atracción solo bastaba con mostrar el brazalete que recibas al entrar, que tiene un numero de control que el personal que custodia cada atracción verifica rápidamente para corroborar que pertenece al lote del día, lo cual es bueno porque agiliza la entrada de los niños a las atracciones.

To enjoy each attraction you only had to show the bracelet you receive at the entrance, which has a control number that the staff that guards each attraction verifies quickly to corroborate that it belongs to the lot of the day, which is good because it speeds up the entrance of the children to the attractions.

Creo que es una buena opción familiar, cuenta con atracciones para todos los gustos, incluso con tarima y grupos de música en vivo durante los fines de semana para quienes solo quiere pasar un rato agradable luego de ir a comer, pero también cuenta con atracciones mecánica para adolescentes y adultos, de esas que ponen a prueba tu estómago y vértigo.

I think it is a good family option, it has attractions for all tastes, even with a stage and live music bands during the weekends for those who just want to spend a nice time after going to eat, but it also has mechanical attractions for teenagers and adults, those that test your stomach and vertigo.

Son pet friendly así que no tienes que preocuparte con quien dejar la mascota en casa, puede llevarla contigo sin problemas, algo obvio si cuenta con una granja de contacto donde hay ponis, cerditos, cabras, chivos e incluso vacas que puedes acariciar.

They are pet friendly so you don't have to worry about who to leave your pet with at home, you can take it with you without any problems, something obvious if you have a contact farm where there are ponies, piglets, goats, goats and even cows that you can pet.

Debo decir que fue un momento muy divertido, los niños lo disfrutaron al máximo, y nos sirvió para despejar la mente de tantas preocupaciones. Caminamos muchísimo, por fortuna llevamos calzado bastante cómodo además se suficiente agua para hidratarnos, aunque compramos algunas cosas para comer, pero como en toda feria o parque, el costo esta por encima que, en la calle, sin embargo, vale la pena volver porque tampoco el costo de la entrada es muy elevado, son 5 dólares por persona, todo el tiempo que se desee estar, y todas las veces que quieras utilizar las atracciones.

I must say that it was a very fun time, the kids enjoyed it to the fullest, and it helped us to clear our minds of so many worries. We walked a lot, fortunately we had comfortable shoes and enough water to hydrate us, although we bought some things to eat, but as in any fair or park, the cost is higher than in the street, however, it is worth going back because the entrance fee is not very high, it is 5 dollars per person, as long as you want to stay, and as many times as you want to use the attractions.
