You absolutely must play this one 👾🎮

July 2022's FREE PS PLUS titles were announced and I saw a game that I recognized called Arcadegeddon was included in the list. I had very briefly played the early access version of this game about a year ago. At the time, I was unable to get into it and gave up on it fairly quickly. That was a big mistake, but there is no better time to start playing than now. So many changes have been made and the state of the game now is fantastic.

Arcadegeddon is not free-to-play, at least not yet. Although as I mentioned, it is currently free to PS Plus gamers. This game is not on Xbox's Game Pass, however, you can purchase it for $30 on Xbox Series X/S and One. You have the same purchase option on PC, but it is only on Epic Games Store for Windows and is not available on Steam.

There really are only good things that I have to say about this game. It is such a blast to play for many reasons.

^{🔊 The EDM soundtrack is full of high-caliber artists such as Svdden Death, Getter, Ray Volpe, UZ, AFK, and many more.}

^{🌌 The game is gorgeous, the environments are fun to explore, and everything flows at the perfect pace.}

^{🔫 There is a huge selection of weapons and leveling them up unlocks extra capabilities.}

^{💸 Microtransactions are barely existent. So many cosmetic items are available to unlock just from gameplay alone.}

^{🕹 4-player co-op with cross-platform support and the ability to link your Epic Games account to play on multiple platforms.}

^{🤩 It's just plain fun to experience. The gunplay is energetic and requires skill and difficulty is continually increasing as you play, teamwork is essential.}

Give this game a chance 🤔

I've given you a few reasons why I highly recommend Arcadegeddon, but you surely want to see what this game is actually like. If I had to compare this to other games, I'd say it is a blend between...

Fortnite Zero Build in terms of gunplay, graphics, movement, and being third-person, but it is NOT a battle royale.

Call of Duty Zombies because of rounds becoming increasingly difficult and purchasing things during brief periods between rounds.

Destiny 2 PVE due to the boss fights and how the loot system works.

I loved all three of those games, so to see them blended together so well like this and then have a soundtrack of music that I would listen to at the gym every single day... Sounds like we are in business and this is the type of game I'd dream of existing.

They are also responsible for other games such as Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed and Predator Hunting Grounds. Arcadegeddon seems to be their most ambitious project thus far.
