The Process
Over the years, I have developed a beat making process that works well for me. It may not be the right process for everyone, but it has helped me to produce some great music.
First, I start with the drums. I think that the drums are the foundation of any good song, so I always spend a lot of time making sure they sound perfect. Once the drums are in place, I move on to the bassline. I usually spend a bit less time on the bassline than I do on the drums, but it's still important to get it right.
After the drums and bass are in place, I move on to the melody. I usually start with a basic melody, and then I add other instruments and layers to it. I spend a lot of time on the melody, because I think it's the most important
The Feelings:
I woke up today feeling inspired to make a beat. I sat down at my computer and started with a simple drum loop. Then I added some bass and a few other sounds. I kept working on it until I had something I was happy with.
I'm not sure what it is, but there's something about making music that just makes me feel good. It's a creative outlet that allows me to express myself in a way that I can't always do with words. And when I'm finished, I always feel a sense of satisfaction.
Making music is something that I love to do, and I'm grateful that I have the opportunity to do it. I hope that everyone gets to experience the same joy that I feel when I'm making music.
More beats to come.
