The great thing with everything you do on the blockchain is that you can trace it back. So if you want to see what you did or posted a year back, you just need to scroll down your feed and you will find it.

One year ago – the first post of @ctpsb

About one year ago, we have published the very first post with the @ctpsb account. It was the starting point of this journey.

During the whole month of september, people could send any amount of hive to @ctpsb and at the end of the month they would get for every hive contributed, 1 ctpsb token.

People sent hive, put @ctpsb as beneficiary of their posts, they delegated and slowly but surely the project started to grow.

More than 70% return for the people who were there at the start

Everybody that contributed 1 hive during this month got 1 ctpsb token in return. Today 1 ctpsb token is worth 1.716 Hive. This means that the initial investment grew by more than 70% in one year.

Since the start we tweaked things even more and the APR today is somewhere around 75% for the ctpsb token.

APR on delegations a bit lower for several reasons

Because of the increasing hive prices, the return for delegators is a bit lower this week (10%). Since we pay the dividends of delegators with our hive-engine curation rewards, it is difficult to generate enough return when hive prices are increasing.

Put into perspective it is now possible to get between 10 and 11% APR on curation on hive with the linear reward curve. Delegating to @ctpsb gives you therefore almost the same return than if you curated yourself. On the other hand you should also take into account that your delegation helps to give value to each and every upvote of the @ctpsb account. This profits the whole community and yourself indirectly as well.
