    English:

Hello, how are you family? Thank you for sharing once again with me. Today I passed by the neighborhood where I was born and decided to accompany my mom to pick coffee.

It has been a long time since I did a task like that. We have as an inheritance a small coffee plantation that each year provides us with some pounds of coffee.

We process it artisanally. After this picking process, it is dried in the sun, roasted, and ground in a mortar, which is a wooden log with a hole in it, just in case you don't know what I mean. In the fields of Cuba, this is a very traditional way of preparing the powder to make coffee.

Now I was bragging about having taught her a new method for picking the beans; it is effective in flat places. A kind of blanket is placed on the ground, and the beans are collected by letting them fall onto it, avoiding having to pick up the beans that didn't fall into the sack as has been done historically.

A big greeting to you and enjoy your day. When you drink coffee again, remember my experience and enjoy this universal beverage. Until next time.
