Hola Hivers! Qué alegría estar de vuelta por esta comunidad y esta vez con el interesante tema ¨Conversación con Dios¨ sugerido por @armandolnrs. Me gusta mucho porque promueve en nosotros un estado de meditación y reflexión sobre la vida en general.
Para mi contribución a este tema quiero compartirles una pieza del maravilloso pianista y compositor cubano José María Vitier. La obra se titula ¨Preludio de Sofía¨ y es parte de la banda sonora de la película cubana El siglo de las luces del director de cine Humberto Solás.
La música de Vitier es una auténtica joya del repertorio para piano porque contienen un virtuosismo del más alto nivel que constantemente reta al intérprete.
José María Vitier es uno de los pianistas y compositores cubanos de la actualidad que más éxito han tenido a nivel internacional. Su obra para cine ha sido premiada y reconocida en numerosos festivales. Una de sus obras más trascendentales es la Misa cubana a la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre.

Hello Hivers! What a joy to be back for this community and this time with the interesting topic "Conversation with God" suggested by @armandolnrs. I like it a lot because it promotes in us a state of meditation and reflection on life in general.
For my contribution to this topic I want to share with you a piece by the wonderful Cuban pianist and composer José María Vitier. The work is entitled ¨Preludio de Sofía¨ and is part of the soundtrack of the Cuban film The Century of Enlightenment by film director Humberto Solás.
Vitier's music is a real gem of the piano repertoire because it contains virtuosity of the highest level that constantly challenges the performer.
José María Vitier is one of today's most successful Cuban pianists and composers on an international level. His work for cinema has been awarded and recognized at numerous festivals. One of his most transcendental works is the Cuban Mass to the Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre.
