Introducción

¡Hola! ¿Qué tal crypto amigos? ¿Cómo están? ¡Yo espero que muy bien! En el día de hoy vengo a traerles, como habrán visto por el título, el primer gameplay de éste increíble juego, Wartales donde me acompañan mis dos queridísimos amigos y compañeros de aventuras @bananasfallers y @nayfull. Es un juego que realmente nos tiene muy enganchados y muy viciados, en lo personal pienso que es el mejor juego RPG por turnos que he jugado hasta el momento, comparándolo con obras maestras como Xcom, Westeland, Battle Brothers, entre otros.

En el capítulo de hoy, el primero de una gran serie, damos inicio a nuestra aventura eligiendo las condiciones iniciales de la misma y los personajes que nos van a acompañar en toda ésta travesía, deberemos elegir entre varias opciones disponibles y empezar de una vez. Seguramente voy a estar mostrando un poco de todo esto en el mini-resumen de siempre.

Pero bueno sin mas preámbulos vamos directamente con el mini-resumen de nuestra partida de hoy, espero que tanto el escrito como los gifs y/o imágenes sean de su agrado.

Mini-resumen

Y como les comentaba, teníamos que elegir como empezaba nuestra aventura, escoger nuestro destino. En un principio estábamos deliberando entre los que empiezan con sospecha pero con mejora de experiencia o los que empezaban con un extra de oro. Al final nos decantamos por los primeros, en el grupo están incluidos un Espadachín, un Arquero, un Guerrillero y un Bruto, nos pareció el equipo mas completo hasta el momento ya que poseíamos daño a distancia, daño a un sólo objetivo, daño a múltiples objetivos y un tanque.

Luego había que elegir entre mas varios items positivos para la tropa en general, en este caso habían opciones como más constitución, mayor experiencia obtenida en batalla, menos salarios que pagar, más daño crítico en general y nosotros nos decantamos por la experiencia ya que así potenciábamos el equipo con mucha experiencia que deviene a subir de nivel y mejorar rápido los mercenarios.

No todo puede ser color de rosas y es que el juego te hace elegir algún prejuicio, como expliqué anteriormente en la reseña y ese debía ser el que, por análisis grupal, menos afectara en general a todos. En este caso nos da la opción de elegir poder llevar 1 menos de peso general en las tropas, recibir 1 menos de felicidad, que aumente el peligro un 10% siempre que descansamos, los mercenarios dejan la tropa si no están contentos con más frecuencias, entre otros. El que vimos que menos no podía llegar a afectar fue el de la felicidad así que esa fue nuestra elección.

Por último debíamos elegir que personajes íbamos a utilizar cada uno ya que el juego, al ser cooperativo, le da la opción a los jugadores a escoger que mercenario va a utilizar. Teniendo cuatro opciones, Julian eligió lo que sería el que toma el papel de tanque, Nayfull el que hace daño en área y yo el daño a una sola unidad, el arquero nadie lo quería usar así que lo agarre yo por descarte ya que el juego te obliga a que todos los personajes tengan designado un jugador para poder empezar la partida, inclusive el burro de carga.

Y una vez iniciada la partida ya tenemos nuestra primera batalla a modo tutorial, bastante sencilla, donde se enseñan todos los pasos a seguir que hay en las peleas dentro de éste juego. Como era de esperarse, nuestra victoria fue aplastante contra el enemigo. Ellos eran tan sólo 2 soldaditos que realmente no estaban bien armados mientras que nosotros eramos 4, la ventaja es estrepitosa. Te invito a que veas el video y disfrutes el juego en sí ya que estoy seguro y espero que te enganche como a nosotros, realmente es un juego que vale la pena y nos ha encantado.

It is a game that really has us very hooked and very addicted, personally I think it is the best turn-based RPG game I have played so far, comparing it with masterpieces like Xcom, Westeland, Battle Brothers, among others.

But well without further ado we go directly with the mini-summary of our game today, I hope that both the writing and the gifs and / or images are to your liking.

Mini-summary

And as I was telling you, we had to choose how our adventure began, choose our destination. At first we were deliberating between those that start with suspicion but with an experience boost or those that start with an extra gold. In the end we opted for the first, the group includes a Swordsman, an Archer, a Guerrilla and a Brute, it seemed to us the most complete team so far since we had ranged damage, damage to a single target, damage to multiple targets and a tank.

Then you had to choose among several more positive items for the troop in general, in this case there were options such as more constitution, more experience obtained in battle, less salaries to pay, more critical damage in general and we opted for experience since that's how We strengthened the team with a lot of experience that becomes to level up and quickly improve the mercenaries.

Not everything can be rosy and the thing is that the game makes you choose some prejudice, as I explained earlier in the review and that should be the one that, by group analysis, affected everyone the least in general. In this case, it gives us the option to choose to carry 1 less overall weight in the troops, receive 1 less happiness, which increases the danger by 10% whenever we rest, the mercenaries leave the troop if they are not happy with more frequencies, among others. The one that we saw that it could not affect the least was that of happiness, so that was our choice.

Finally we had to choose which characters we were going to use each one since the game, being cooperative, gives players the option to choose which mercenary they are going to use. Having four options, Julian chose what would be the one that takes the role of tank, Nayfull the one that does damage in the area and I the damage to a single unit, the archer nobody wanted to use it so I took it by discard since the game It forces all the characters to have a designated player to start the game, including the pack donkey.

And once the game has started we already have our first battle in tutorial mode, quite simple, where all the steps to follow in the fights within this game are taught. As expected, our victory was overwhelming against the enemy. They were only 2 soldiers who were not really well armed while we were 4, the advantage is resounding.
