What is a wallet?

Una wallet es una cartera, billetera o monedero virtual en el que podemos gestionar nuestros activos criptográficos, criptomonedas o criptodivisas. Es un software o hardware diseñado exclusivamente para almacenar y gestionar las claves públicas y claves privadas de nuestras criptomonedas.

La blockchain de Hive facilita una wallet o billetera virtual para poder controlar los criptoactivos que se vayan generando dentro de la misma, en esta cartera virtual se lograra apreciar la moneda oficial de la plataforma, la cual es el HIVE, también se podrá apreciar el token Hive Backed Dollars (HBD) y el stake o congelación de fondos Hive power (HP).

Hive: es la moneda líquida del ecosistema de Hive. Puede ser comercializado, colocado en stake, comprado y vendido.

Hive Backed Dollars: Los Hive Backed Dollars están destinados a ser vinculados al dólar de los Estados Unidos (USD) a una tasa de uno a uno.

Hive Backed Dollars: Hive Backed Dollars are intended to be pegged to the United States dollar (USD) at a rate of one to one.

Hive Power (HP): forma en stake de HIVE, se otorga durante un proceso llamado "power up". Una vez hecho el power up, el Hive Power puede ser total o parcialmente sacado del stake a voluntad, en un proceso denominado "power down". El HIVE en stake vuelve entonces a su forma líquida (es decir, HIVE) en cantidades iguales durante un período de 13 semanas, con un segmento entregado cada 7 días.

Hive Power (HP): stake form of HIVE, awarded during a process called "power up". Once the power up is done, the Hive Power can be fully or partially removed from the stake at will, in a process called "power down". The HIVE in stake is then returned to its liquid form (i.e. HIVE) in equal amounts over a period of 13 weeks, with a segment delivered every 7 days.

También contiene un sistema de ahorros en el cual se podrán almacenar la cantidad deseada, ya sea de HIVE, de HBD o de ambas y retirarlos con un periodo de espera de 3 días.

It also contains a savings system in which the desired amount of either HIVE, HBD or both can be stored and withdrawn with a 3-day waiting period.
