¡Hola amigos! Espero que estén muy bien hoy. Yo me siento bastante feliz de pasar de nuevo a la comunidad #needleworkmonday para compartir la parte final de mi WIP. Estoy realmente satisfecha de todo el trabajo que realicé. Especialmente porque contuve el deseo de terminar los amigurumis en dos o tres días como estoy acostumbrada a hacerlo. He aprendido a contener las ganas de verlos terminados pronto. El secreto, no tenerlos a la vista. ¡Simple!

Hello friends! I hope you are doing great today. I am quite happy to stop by the #needleworkmonday community again to share the final part of my WIP. I am really satisfied with all the work I did. Especially because I held back the desire to finish the amigurumis in two or three days as I am used to doing. I have learned to contain the desire to see them finished soon. The secret, not to have them in sight. Simple!

Al entrar a la comunidad el día de hoy me fijé en que hay aún varios días para presentar los proyectos finalizados. Deseo que todos o la gran mayoría pueda presentarlos listos. He disfrutado mucho este reto. Me quedó pendiente un cuarto personaje, pero lo haré y se los mostraré después ya que hay una parte del proyecto que aún no tengo definida. Sé que les gustará. Por ahora les dejaré algunos detalles de la culminación de mi wip. Muchas gracias a todos por el apoyo, por leer y dejar siempre sus buenos deseos.

When I joined the community today I noticed that there are still several days to submit completed projects. I hope that all or most of them will be able to submit them ready. I have really enjoyed this challenge. I have a fourth character pending, but I will do it and I will show it to you later since there is a part of the project that I have not yet defined. Eran muy pocos los detalles que faltaban. Lo que retardó un poco la culminación fue no estar segura sobre cómo realizar los ojos del Chucky ya que decidí hacerlos bordados. Empecemos con la descripción del proceso y los materiales.

Para realizar estos últimos pasos utilicé los siguientes materiales: tela pop color blanco. Hilos de coser azul claro, negro y rojo. Lápices de colores. Tijeras. Hilo pabilo color rojo y piel. Aguja de crochet de 2,25 mm. Aguja lanera. Pegamento. Ojos plásticos. Foami. Pintura de uñas roja.

There were very few details missing. What delayed a little the completion was not being sure about how to make the eyes of Chucky since I decided to make them embroidered. Let's start with the description of the process and the materials.

To make these last steps I used the following materials: white pop fabric. Light blue, black and red sewing threads. Colored pencils. Scissors. Red and leather colored thread. Crochet needle of 2.25 mm. Wool needle. Glue. Plastic eyes. Foami. Red nail polish.

Empecé haciendo los detalles de Chucky. Tomé un pequeño trozo de tela pop, realicé una especie de círculo, corté dos iguales. Dentro del círculo dibujé con color negro uno más pequeño. Seguidamente con hilos de coser bordé primero todo el borde más ancho con hilo azul y el centro con hilo negro. Usé la aguja de coser. Al terminar los pegué en la cara del Chucky.
Luego con hilo pabilo color rojo bordé las cicatrices y las cejas. Con el lápiz de color rojo resalté las cicatrices y los bordes de los dos ojos. También le hice una pequeña boca con hilo de coser.
Usando foami liso, colores marrón y gris realicé la figura de un gran cuchillo. Este lo pinté con esmalte rojo para simular la sangre, aunque mi Chucky es verdaderamente inocente 🤭

I started by making the details of Chucky. I took a small piece of pop cloth, made a kind of circle, cut two of the same. Inside the circle I drew with black color a smaller one. Then with sewing threads I embroidered first the whole wider edge with blue thread and the center with black thread. I used the sewing needle. When I finished I glued them on the face of Chucky.
Then with red thread I embroidered the scars and eyebrows. With the red crayon I highlighted the scars and the edges of the two eyes. I also made a small mouth with sewing thread.
Using plain foami, brown and gray colors I made the figure of a big knife. I painted it with red enamel to simulate blood, although my Chucky is really innocent 🤭

Así me quedó este primer personaje. Fue el más laborioso por la cantidad de colores que lleva su traje y los detalles que requiere para parecerse al original.

This is how I got this first character. It was the most laborious because of the amount of colors in his costume and the details required to look like the original.

El segundo personaje que trabajé fue Draculín los detalles que realicé fueron los ojos, las orejas, cejas, nariz y boca. Como pueden ver los ojos se los pegué. Con hilo de coser color negro bordé su boca y sus cejas. Solo hice dos pasadas de hilo para lograr el grosor de ambas partes. Con el hilo pabilo color piel tejí sus dos orejas: en un am sin cerrar levanté 4 puntos bajos, un punto medio alto y un punto alto. Tejí dos y cosí uno a cada lado de su cara. Con tres pasadas de hilo bordé la nariz. TODO LO HICE MUY RÁPIDO PORQUE ME SENTÍ amenazada todo el tiempo, Chucky estaba celoso ☺️ para culminar pinté sus mejillas con lápiz de color rojo.

The second character I worked on was Draculin the details I made were the eyes, ears, eyebrows, nose and mouth. As you can see I glued the eyes. With black sewing thread I embroidered his mouth and eyebrows. I only did two passes of thread to achieve the thickness of both parts. With the skin colored thread I knitted her two ears: in an unclosed am I picked up 4 single crochet stitches, one medium high stitch and one high stitch. I knitted two and sewed one on each side of her face. With three passes of yarn I embroidered the nose. I DID IT ALL VERY QUICKLY BECAUSE I FEELED THREATENED the whole time, Chucky was jealous ☺️ to top it off I painted her cheeks with red crayon.

Por último tomé al Guasón y le pinté con lápiz de color negro el borde superior de sus ojos. Solo para resaltar las puntas. Este personaje tiene aún más detalles, sin embargo me limité sólo a colocarle los ojos, la nariz y bordar su boca.

Finally I took the Joker and painted with black pencil the upper edge of his eyes. Just to highlight the tips. This character has even more details, however I limited myself to just placing his eyes, nose and embroidering his mouth.

Los tres personajes me encantan. Todos los tejo por primera vez de este tamaño. Siempre he tejido con hilos de coser estos personajes y quedan pequeños. El Draculín es el primero que tejo. Al principio lo veía muy simple. Le tomé cariño de inmediato cuando le hice la capa. Ahora que ya tiene sus ojos y sus orejas me gusta mucho más.

I love all three characters. I am knitting them all for the first time in this size. I have always knitted these characters with sewing thread and they fit small. The Draculin is the first one I knit. At first I thought it was very simple. I took an immediate liking to him when I made his cape. Now that he has his eyes and ears I like him much more.
