This time to present my entry to the contest still running, creating with love ❤️ It consists of elaborating and showing the step by step of making a necklace. The community is pleased to offer us their space to model the different styles of necklaces we know. I hope that my publication will be of your total pleasure.

Los collares han sido una de las prendas favoritas de muchas personas desde el inicio de la humanidad. Yo no podía quedarme sin usarlos, es por ello que desde que inicié en mis labores profesionales los lucí de diferentes modelos, tamaños y colores, siendo los más usados los collares largos y las gargantillas. Estas últimas de verdad me fascinan. Cuando retomé el crochet tejí variados diseños y se los regalé a mi hermana mayor, a ella le quedan demasiado lindas las gargantillas.

Creo que este tipo de accesorios siempre serán una buena opción para regalar. Recuerdo que cuando me prohibieron usar accesorios pesados tuve que escoger entre mis favoritos para quedarme con los más livianos, el resto los regalé. Me dió mucha pena deshacerme de ellos, pero la mayoría están en muy buenas manos y los están luciendo de maravilla.

Los collares tejidos se convirtieron en mi mejor opción. Me di cuenta que son muy lindos, livianos, elegantes y se pueden tejer de muchísimos modelos. Es por esto que el día de hoy me animé a tejer una linda GARGANTILLA, se elabora en tan solo pocos pasos y lo mejor con escaso material. Te muestro el paso a paso.

Necklaces have been one of the favorite garments of many people since the beginning of humanity. I could not stay without using them, that is why since I started my professional work I wore them in different models, sizes and colors, being the most used the long necklaces and chokers. The latter really fascinate me. When I took up crochet again, I knitted several designs and gave them as gifts to my older sister, she loves chokers.

I think this kind of accessories will always be a good option to give as a gift. I remember when I was forbidden to wear heavy accessories I had to choose among my favorites to keep the lighter ones, the rest I gave away. I was very sad to get rid of them, but most of them are in very good hands and are wearing them beautifully.

The woven necklaces became my top choice. I realized that they are very cute, light, elegant and can be knitted in many different patterns. That's why today I decided to weave a nice necklace, it's made in just a few steps and the best thing is that it's made with very little material. I show you the step by step.

Ustedes se preguntarán por qué de entre tantas opciones de collares yo elegí presentar una gargantilla tejida ☺️ la respuesta es fácil. Una de las actividades en la que descargo más voltios de amor es durante el proceso de elaboración de mis proyectos tejidos. Luego de pensarlo tanto, me decidí por realizar una prenda que me encante hacer, usar y compartir. Así que, esta es la razón por la que tejí este accesorio. Realmente está creado con amor porque tejer es mi pasión.

You may wonder why out of so many necklace options I chose to feature a woven choker ☺️ the answer is easy. One of the activities in which I discharge the most volts of love is during the process of making my woven projects. After giving it so much thought, I decided to make a garment that I love to make, wear and share. So, this is the reason why I knit this accessory. It is really created with love because knitting is my passion.

❤️ Para realizarla utilicé restos de hilos de crochet acrílico, colores blanco y dorado. Aguja de crochet de 1,60 mm, tijeras, aguja lanera, cinta métrica y dos cuentas medianas de madera.

❤️ To make it I used leftover acrylic crochet thread, white and gold colors. Crochet needle of 1,60 mm, scissors, wool needle, measuring tape and two medium wooden beads.

❤️ Elaborar esta gargantilla es sencillo. Basta con conocer los puntos básicos del CROCHET y tener mucha creatividad. Veamos.

Paso 1.

Empecé tejiendo 101 cadenas. Seguidamente subí con una cadena y tejí 100 puntos bajos.

❤️ Making this choker is easy. You just need to know the basic stitches of CROCHET and have a lot of creativity. Let's see.

Step 1.

I started by knitting 101 chains. Next I went up with a chain and knit 100 single crochet stitches.

Paso 2.

Giré el tejido, subí con una cadena y tejí la secuencia: 2 cadenas-2 espacios sin trabajar-1 punto bajo.

Step 2.

I turned the knitting, went up with a chain and knit the sequence: 2 chains-2 unworked spaces-1 single crochet.

Paso 3.

Giré el tejido, levanté 5 cadenas y realicé 1 punto deslizado en el punto bajo de la vuelta anterior.

Step 3.

I turned the knitting, picked up 5 chains and cast on 1 slip stitch in the single crochet of the previous round.

Paso 4.

Giré el tejido, cambié de color de hilo. Usando el dorado comencé a tejer dentro del arco de 5 puntos cadena. Allí realicé 5 puntos altos, seguidamente tejí un punto deslizado en el arco de 2 cadenas que tejí en la vuelta 3. Para hacer este punto pasé el ganchillo desde la parte de atrás del arco de 5 puntos.

Step 4.

I turned the knitting, changed the color of yarn. Using the gold I began to knit inside the 5 chain stitch arc. There I knit 5 high stitches, then I knit a slip stitch in the 2-chain arc that I knitted in round 3. To make this stitch I passed the crochet hook from the back of the 5-chain arc.

❤️ Para finalizar tejí ocho cadenas, un punto deslizado en el punto donde comencé el tejido. Luego en ese arco tejí 10 puntos bajos. Así formé el ojal para asegurar la gargantilla.
Tomé la medida de mi cuello. Ahora en el otro extremo tejí en cada punta 20 cadenas. Usé los dos colores de hilos. Luego coloqué una cuenta de madera en cada cadeneta.

❤️ To finish I knit eight chains, a slip stitch in the stitch where I started the knitting. Then in that arc I knit 10 single crochet stitches. This is how I formed the buttonhole to secure the choker.
I took the measurement of my neck. Now at the other end I knitted in each end 20 chains. I used both colors of yarn. Then I placed a wooden bead on each chain.
