Romanza del Cocoliso Cimarrón

¡Hola comunidad!
Hoy tengo el gusto de mostrarles fruto de mi trabajo como padre y músico.
Este jovencito pianista es Ronny Yunior López Vega. Tiene 11 años y estudia en la escuela elemental de Música "Manuel Saumell". Tuve la dicha de convertirme en su segundo papá hace 6 años cuando me casé con su mamá: mi hermosa esposa Yuyu Vega.
Si bien Ronnito siempre ha sido un niño con mucho ritmo y musicalidad, fue el hábito de verme practicando lo que lo acercó a la música con un interés especial y, con mi supervisión y la de mi familia (casi todos músicos), está despuntando como un talentoso pianista.
La obra que les comparto es una pieza de varias que he ido escribiendo para él en la medida que va creciendo y adentrándose más en el mundo de la música.
Yo deseo para él que sea un músico de su tiempo. Que sepa defender el piano desde lo cubano a lo universal. Que siga cosechando éxitos y que entienda que la música, más que un medio de vida, es un sentido de vida donde el logro mayor es dejar una huella espiritual en los oyentes.
La pieza se titula "Romanza del Cocoliso Cimarrón" (le decimos Cocoliso a Ronnito en casa por el tipo de corte de cabello que lleva jejejeje). Es una pieza que escribí para él cuando aprendía sobre la historia de la esclavitud en Cuba y donde el diseño melódico tratar de recrear esa época.
Con esta pieza fue galardonado con el 2do Premio y Premio a la "Mejor Interpretación de una Obra Latinoamericana" en su categoría del 2do Concurso Latinoamericano "América para Todos" con sede en México, al mismo tiempo de recibir la "Mención Honorable" en su categoría en el 1er Concurso Internacional de Música "Malopolska 2021" de Polonia siendo el único galardonado del continente americano.
La grabación fue realizada por Rodrigo García (@rodripiano en Hive) quien es uno de los guías esenciales en la formación de Ronnito como pianista.

Hello community!
Today I have the pleasure of showing you the fruit of my work as a father and musician.
This young pianist is Ronny Yunior López Vega. He is 11 years old and studies at the "Manuel Saumell" Elementary School of Music. I had the joy of becoming his second father 6 years ago when I married his mother: my beautiful wife Yuyu Vega.
Although Ronnito has always been a child with a lot of rhythm and musicality, it was the habit of seeing me practicing that brought him closer to music with a special interest and, with my supervision and that of my family (almost all musicians), he is emerging as a talented pianist.
The work that I am sharing with you is one of several pieces that I have been writing for him as he grows and goes deeper into the world of music.
I wish for him to be a musician of his time. That he knows how to defend the piano from the Cuban to the universal. May he continue to be successful and understand that music, more than a way of life, is a meaning of life where the greatest achievement is to leave a spiritual imprint on the listeners.
The piece is titled "Romanza del Cocoliso Cimarrón" (we call Ronnito Cocoliso at home because of the type of haircut he has hehehehe). It is a piece that I wrote for him when he was learning about the history of slavery in Cuba and where the melodic design tries to recreate that era.
With this piece he was awarded the 2nd Prize and Prize for "Best Interpretation of a Latin American Work" in its category of the 2nd Latin American Contest "América para Todos" based in Mexico, at the same time as receiving the "Honorable Mention" in its category in the 1st International Music Contest "Malopolska 2021" in Poland, being the only winner from the American continent.
