A Tribute to my Dad, Phil.

This is why I love the HIVE blockchain and why I love 3Speak! I have the freedom to make a video with music for my Father who just passed away a week ago today. I found some of his favorite songs and photographs and had a great video made by (@ty2nicerva on HIVE) and it was booted from Youtube private videos as well as uploading to Facebook too. I just wanted the rest of his family to see it and hear the great songs on it as well. In the centralized world, there is no freedom such as this. It does not make any sense why I cannot have this right to use some clips of great songs (as long as I am not making any money commercially off of it,etc.) I am now uploading this awesome video into the 3Speak video platform. You all on Facebook will be able to hear the music now thanks to 3Speak's decentralized video platform! This is the world of decentralization! It is awesome! Not only do you have the freedom to listen to what you want to and share it but you can also get upvoted for it. You can earn free crypto by receiving upvotes. You don't earn any money on Facebook commenting and posting but I can see years from now where more people will earn. Cryptocurrency and Blockchain life are still light years ahead of everyone.

This video is all the photographs I could gather up and share with you all. I think these should be made for people while they are alive and can enjoy it. I wish I made this a month ago.....

When you are little, you look up to the people around you in your family. For me, it was Dad was Phil, and my Mom. He never wanted to be called "Dad" as he did not want to impose or interfere with anything. He was nice like that and always thought of others. He was always there if you needed him. He was our Dad. He loved Florida, the beach, going to movies, watching classic movies, westerns, listening to classic rock, The Beatles, and more.

He loved museums and traveling. He never missed a day of church or work at The Washington Post. He liked to stay in Virginia in the spring and summer and Florida in the winter. We both loved the weather and the relaxed atmosphere of Florida. He stayed with me there during the northern months when I lived there and went back to Mineral, VA. during Spring. He loved his coffee and morning Washington Post paper. He loved working there as well. He loved his wife and his family. He was a great Dad, he was always there for you. We used to go to the movies every week in Springfield, that was fun!

I went to Baltimore a lot with my Mom and Phil when I was little. My brothers did not have to go as they were always up to something and busy with that, lol! As soon as we got out of the driveaway down at the end of our road I'd say "Are we there yet?" I used to make the truck drivers honk their horn but Phil and my Mom did not like that. I thought it was cool, I loved to visit his Mom and sister, and brother there in Baltimore. We would eat crabs often, I still love them now!

When I came back from Florida to Virginia in 2013, I lived with Phil in Lake Anna. I loved it there, it was a very beautiful place to be. We both shared the loved of being around water that is for sure! he made puzzles with Layla and played lots of board games with her. He was an awesome Grandfather. We enjoyed catching some waves every summer in Ocean City, MD. summer vacations growing up. We always had nice family Christmas presents like a pool table, super TV and more. With Covid around, I have been staying home as Adil cannot ever get it or he would not make it his Doctor said. So, we are stuck at home. A big thank you to Ty Carey for making this for me!

Phil was an amazing person and he will be missed. He asked if he would ever see me again before going into a coma. I told him I loved him just hours before he passed away and I will never forget him. Make sure you see his story he wrote recently below and sent to my Mom a few weeks ago. I know he is with his Mom now, rest in peace Phil. We love you.
