In Puglia, a region of southern Italy, the conformation of the territory overlooking the sea is characterized by Lama, beds of rivers that have now disappeared due to climate change but also due to the intervention of the man who diverted the water in the underground aquifers which then flow into the sea.

All this has allowed man to cultivate these particularly fertile territories, planting olive groves and exploiting the new fields. I took advantage of these free days to play sports, as long as alone, to return to breathe the good clean air of the countryside in the company of my bike.

I recorded this short video of descent into the Lama to show you the immaculate beauty of the place, among the olive trees, the verdant flowery meadow and the wonderful dirt roads. In addition to the peaceful sounds of nature, the scent that saturates the air and fills my lungs is surprising.

I hope the video can partly convey the beautiful day that I experienced in the heart of nature in my city.
