HOLA HIVERS! Empezando con la iniciativa, les hablaré de un par de películas que me hicieron reflexionar bastante...

TROPA DE ÉLITE 1 Y 2... Si no las has visto, te estás perdiendo de una gran joya del cine latino.

Crudas, despiadadas, injustas e indignantes pero esperanzadoras como la vida misma. Así son este par de peliculones.

La primera estrenó en el año 2007, y nos pone en la piel del Capitán Nascimento, un veterano oficial del Batallón de Operaciones Especiales (BOPE) que está en búsqueda de su reemplazo en el quipo para jubilarse con tranquilidad y descansar en familia. Ahí entra en juego Matías, un novato ingenuo, pero tenáz que aprende por las duras que este mundo no es tan bueno como quisieramos, pero tampoco es tan malo como nos cuentan.

La segunda parte estrenó en 2010 y sitúa a la historia 13 años después. Vemos más conflictos sociales que se dan cuando el BOPE va a dar una vuelta por las peligrosas favelas de Rio de Janeiro. El ahora Teniente Coronel Nascimento, desde un escritorio se enfrenta al drama de los fantasmas pasados y a la incomprensión de su hijo, quien coquetea con ideas de izquierda y ve a su padre como un dictador y un asesino.

Resalto el guión por sobre todo, real y sin cabos sueltos. El sountrack te pone a bailar Samba. La fotografía no decepciona.

HELLO HIVERS! Starting off with the initiative, I'll tell you about a couple of movies that made me think quite a bit....

ELITE SQUAD 1 AND 2... If you haven't seen them, you're missing out on a great gem of Latin cinema.

Crude, ruthless, unjust and outrageous but hopeful as life itself. That's how these two great movies are.
·
The first one premiered in 2007, and puts us in the shoes of Captain Nascimento, a veteran officer of the Special Operations Battalion (BOPE) who is looking for his replacement in the team to retire with peace of mind and rest with his family. That's where Matias comes in, a naive but tenacious rookie who learns the hard way that this world is not as good as we would like it to be, but it's not as bad as we are told.

The second part was released in 2010 and sets the story 13 years later. We see more social conflicts that occur when BOPE goes on a tour of the dangerous favelas of Rio de Janeiro. The now Lieutenant Colonel Nascimento, from a desk, faces the drama of past ghosts and the incomprehension of his son, who flirts with leftist ideas and sees his father as a dictator and a murderer.

I highlight the script above all, real and without loose ends. The sountrack gets you dancing Samba. The cinematography does not disappoint.
