Afritunes I greet you all, it's a nice thing to be here today I wasn't in participation last week because i had a health challenge but thank God I'm up and strong this week.
This week I remembered a song I use to sing years ago, it's a song by Tim-Godfrey "TOYA" is the title of the song, I remembered that I first heard the song from my elder sister I guess while I was still in highschool, it's really been a while but scoring the song don't give me tough time because I already knew the song.
TOYA is actually an Igbo word, it means PRAISE HIM and of course it's no one else but God, my favorite part of the song is when it said "I cannot help but give you praise" that's just the truth, with what God has done, it's like we can't help but praise him, he is good at doing things to marvel us.
Some people find it hard to praise but I discovered that praises makes someone to do more and that's just the truth, instead of complains it's rather better to praise even when the did has not been done, praises go a long way in making the doer do more.
One feature I love about God from this song is that "If you did it before
You can do it today", it's what I learnt from the song, in God's world there's no difference between yesterday and today, everything he did yesterday can be done today so he is not limited by time.
Toya eze ..toya
You made the lame man walk
You made the blind man see
Toya eze ..toya
You made the dead man rise
Walked upon the sea
Toya eze ..toya
If you did it before
You can do it today
Toya eze ..toya
Agu ne chemba one
Ebube dike ..ekwueme
So i lift my hands
To give you all my praise
Toya eze..toya
You made the lame man walk
You made the blind man see
Toya eze ..toya
You made the dead man rise
You walked upon the sea
Toya eze …toya
