Greetings to all! Accepting the invitation of my friend @mayifiestas, I join the Initiative Of The Week #10: Inspired by The Fantasy of GlowUpArt to present a fantasy makeup that I have called bird of prey. As always, I accompany my creations with good music and in this work I was inspired by the song Otherside performed by Red Hot Chili Peppers, which reminded me of my adolescence. Let's see the step by step:

Saludos a todos! Aceptando la invitación de mi amiga @mayifiestas, me sumo a la Initiative Of The Week #10: Inspired by The Fantasy of GlowUpArt para presentar un maquillaje de fantasía al que he llamado ave de rapiña. Como siempre, acompaño mis creaciones con buena música y en este trabajo me ha inspirado la canción Otherside interpretada por Red Hot Chili Peppers, que me recordó mi adolescencia. Vamos a ver el paso a paso:

For this project I used: Neutral soap, facial moisturizer, neutral foundation, translucent foundation, translucent pressed powder, black eyeliner, gold and brown acrylic paint, 2 pieces of black opaline cardboard, gold, red and black stones, glue, brushes, sponge and hawk feather.

Para este proyecto utilicé: Jabón neutro, crema hidratante facial, base neutra, base traslúcida, polvo compacto translúcido, delineador negro, pintura acrílica color dorado y marrón, 2 trozos de cartulina opalina color negro, piedras de color dorador, rojo y negro, pegamento, pinceles, esponja y pluma de gavilán.

Procedure.

-The first thing I did was wash my face with neutral gel soap, which is pH controlled. Then I moisturized with face cream. And I applied a layer of neutral foundation.

-Next, I applied a layer of translucent foundation and with a sponge I applied translucent pressed powder.

Procedimiento

-Lo primero que hice fue lavar mi cara con jabón neutro en gel, que mantiene el pH controlado. Luego hidraté con crema facial. Y apliqué una capa de base neutra.

-Seguidamente, apliqué una capa de base traslúcida y con una esponja apliqué polvo compacto translúcido.

-With an eyeliner I made the shape of the bird's eyes.

-Con un delineador hice la forma de los ojos del ave.

-With a brush and gold acrylic paint, I painted the edge of the shape of the eyes to highlight the outline.

-With a fine brush and brown acrylic paint, I painted the inside of the shape of the bird's eyes, giving short strokes that simulate the bird's feathers.

-Con un pincel y pintura acrílica color dorado, pinté el borde la la forma de los ojos para resaltar el contorno.

-Con un pincel fino y pintura acrílica color marrón, pinté el interior de la forma de los ojos del ave, dando pinceladas cortas que simulan las plumas del ave.

-After I finished painting the eyes, I outlined the lips in brown and filled them in evenly.

-With black opaline cardboard, I made what would be the bird's eyelashes and glued them on each side of the eyes.

With glue, I glued a line of gold-colored stones under each eye. On the chest I put what would be the heart of the bird with red and black stones.

-I painted my entire chest and left arm with the same effect as the feathers.

-Después que terminé de pintar los ojos, delinié los labios de color marrón y rellené uniformemente.

-Con cartulina opalina de color negro, hice lo que serían las pestañas del ave y las pegué de cada lado de los ojos.

-Con pegamento, pegué una línea de piedras color dorado debajo de cada ojo. En el pecho puse lo que sería el corazón del ave con piedras rojas y negras.

-Pinté todo mi pecho y brazo izquierdo con el mismo efecto de las plumas.

I was inspired in this fantasy make-up, because in the area where I live we have a small pine tree reserve at the entrance of the urbanization, a month ago I went for a walk and when I was passing by the pine trees, a sparrow hawk feather fell in my hands. And as I was listening to the characteristic song of this bird, it occurred to me that I could do a make-up inspired by it. What was not in the plan was to do it on this occasion, that came on its own 🤭.

Me inspiré en este maquillaje fantasía, ya que en la zona donde vivo tenemos una pequeña reserva de pinos en la entrada de la urbanización, hace un mes salí a caminar y cuando estaba pasando por los pinos, una pluma de gavilán me cayó en las manos. Y mientras escuchaba el característico cantar de esta ave, se me ocurrió que podía hacer un maquillaje inspirado en ella. Lo que no estaba en el plan fue hacerlo en esta ocasión, eso vino solo 🤭.

Behind Bambalinas

While I was doing this make-up, everything happened: there was a strong thunderstorm, we had a power failure that lasted 3 hours and when the power came back on it was too late to continue with my work, so the next day I started again.

When I read that the initiative was fantasy, I wanted to make a unicorn. But I ended up making a bird of prey 🤭... inexplicable things of my imagination.

My 2 year old daughter, took the cardboard tabs of the bird and I spent 30 minutes looking for them and her playing with me.

It was a bit exhausting to finish this project as I have not been very healthy this week. But the important thing is that I really enjoyed this work and had fun.

Trás Bambalinas

Mientras hacía este maquillaje pasó de todo: pasó una tormenta eléctrica fuerte, tuvimos una falla eléctrica que se prolongó 3 horas y cuando volvió el fluido eléctrico era muy tarde para continuar con mi trabajo, así que al día siguiente comencé de nuevo.

Cuando leí que la iniciativa era fantasía, quise hacer un unicornio. Pero terminé haciendo un ave de rapiña 🤭... cosas inexplicables de mi imaginación.

Mi hija de 2 años, se llevó las pestañas de cartulina del ave y pasé 30 minutos buscandolas y ella jugando conmigo.

Fue un poco agotador terminar este proyecto ya que no he estado muy bien de salud esta semana. Pero lo importante es que disfruté mucho este trabajo y que me divertí.
