    English Version

Greetings dear Hivers, in this opportunity I want to bring you part of my preparation for the soloist concert that will take place in about a month with my orchestra.

My participation as a soloist represents a challenge at a technical level, and although I have performed before, I can say that since that first time I have grown in many ways. It is a pleasure to share with you the first movement of my presentation.

As the title says, today I will show you the first movement of the Winter from "The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi who

"...was a Venetian Baroque composer, violinist, impresario, teacher and Catholic priest. He was nicknamed Il prete rosso ("The Red Priest") because he was a priest and had red hair. He is considered one of the greatest Baroque composers, his influence during his lifetime spread throughout Europe and he was instrumental in the development of Johann Sebastian Bach's instrumental music. His mastery is reflected in his having cemented the concerto genre, the most important of his time.2 He composed some 770 works, including more than 400 concertos, for violin and a variety of other musical instruments, and nearly 46 operas. He is especially popular as the author of the series of concertos for violin and orchestra The Four Seasons."

I must confess that the preparation of this video caught me away from home and I had to improvise, even I had to learn to use other audio and video editing tools, not to mention that I have no Wifi where I am.

    Reaper Edit.png

    Reaper Edit 2.png

It all started by recording the violin audio separately and then mixing it with a program called Reaper. I must point out how practical this program was for me and it will certainly be part of my repertoire of software to make my Hive publications.

    VSDC EDIT.png

After I had the audio mixed, it was time to record the video. The recording took me a couple of hours but in all this process I had the support of @irismoreno who accompanied me until about 4:00am and who is preparing his first publication in Hive.

At dawn, having already rested I got into action with the editing using VSDC, it was quite a task to adapt to this new software, pff! yes it complicated me but I was satisfied with the result being this the first time I use it. If that wasn't enough, the laptop I had here wouldn't let me load the video in 3speak so I spent a long time struggling in the platform until I managed to load it from my phone.

I hope you enjoy this interpretation and any comments you can give me will be very welcome. I have a month to prepare this station with a good level of execution and I hope to be able to share my participation in this concert that will take place.
