    "Walking on the Moon"
    The Police

"The police" has created many successes, but in 1979, one of their successes was "walking on the Moon" at this time the space movement was very fashionable, in the 70's NASA sent several missions to the moon and this is what this topic is about, where it alludes to what was the arrival of man to the moon, at that time this topic came to be in the first places in radio broadcasts in the United Kingdom. On this occasion, I present another song by this band that since it was created,
has been the favorite of more than three generations. The bass of this song is very vintage and for its execution to achieve the sound the “palm mute” technique is used, giving it the necessary attack with a sound without reverberation. The EQ keeps low sounds almost to a minimum, with the mids and highs predominant, as well as using the bass pickups closest to the bridge to keep the sound brighter.

"Walking on the Moon" is a song that was born in a time when the space race was booming and one of the curiosities is its video, which was filmed at Kennedy Space Center on October 23, 1979. It features members of the band while showing the spaceship in the middle of the song, interspersed with NASA images. Both Sting and Andy Summers play guitar (not bass) in the video, and Stewart Copeland hits the Saturn V moon rocket with his drumsticks.

"Walking on the Moon" - The Police(Cover Bass)

Giant steps are what you take
    Walking on the moon
I hope my legs don't break
    Walking on the moon
    We could walk forever
    Walking on the moon
    We could live together
Walking on, walking on the moon
    Walking back from your house
    Walking on the moon
    Walking back from your house
    Walking on the moon
Feet they hardly touch the ground
    Walking on the moon
My feet don't hardly make no sound
Walking on, walking on the moon
    Some may say
    I'm wishing my days away
    No way
And if it's the price I pay
    Some say
    Tomorrow's another day
    You stay
    I may as well play
Giant steps are what you take
    Walking on the moon
I hope my legs don't break
    Walking on the moon
    We could walk forever
    Walking on the moon
    We could be together
Walking on, walking on the moon
    Some may say
    I'm wishing my days away
    No way
And if it's the price I pay
    Some say
    Tomorrow's another day
    You stay
    I may as well play
Keep it up, keep it up
