Hey Guys
These are some shots taken in a village in the North Yorkshire Moors called Appleton-Le-Moors.
This is the first time in my life I have ever seen sheep freely wandering around a village. It was a pretty surreal sight.
This area has a strong farming community ,there are many sheep freely wandering around the village and the surrounding fields.
We didn't plan to stop here, we were heading to a hotel in the area for afternoon tea but decided to stop for a drink at the Moors Inn so I could get these photographs.
Some of the house's here are over 300 years old...
Some of cottages are very photogenic.
We headed through Appleton on our way to Lastingham Grange.
Lastingham Grange is an Old Farmhouse that is now a Hotel and Restaurant.
The gardens are lovely and have outdoor seating.
There is a wooded area to stroll around which leads down to a duck pond...
We had the Pimm's afternoon tea which costs £24
A refreshing glass of Pimm's in a nice garden on a lovely summers afternoon.
Served with cucumber , egg mayonnaise ,salmon and ham sandwiches.
A selection of cakes.
And tea and scones.
Once your done eating its nice just to sit and enjoy a cup of tea in the gardens. A highly recommend place to visit if your in the North Yorkshire Moors area.
