The Wild Rover- A Traditional Folk Song

Hi Everyone

This morning I was inspired to create a version of a classic old folk song called "The Wild Rover"

This is a mash up of version's played by The Clancy brothers and The Dubliners as well as a band called Lankum and one line from Bob Dylans Moonshiner "The world is a bottle , life is but a dram but when the bottle is empty ,it aint worth a damn"

So this version is my own unique take on a very old song.I will likely be playing this one until Im old and grey :).

I took from my pocket ten sovereigns bright
And the landlady's eyes opened wide with delight.

And the words I just spoke they were only in jest.
