Fire & Steel - An aerial shooter where we play as a Dragon during World War 2 -Great game and a Gif

A few days before Christmas I picked up this cool little Dragon themed shooter for £3.99.

As the story opens our young Dragon Aiden is awakened from a 1000 year slumber in a cave on an island of the south coast of England.

Its World War 2 time and the skirmish between the Allies and the Axis has pissed him of....now he's out for blood!

In the video above I play through the tutorial and the first level of the game. I tried the second level but found the difficulty jumped way up and decided to come back to level 2 once I've had a bit more practice.

While capturing footage I was thinking to myself ,damn Im going to be able to make some sexy Gifs with this one!

All gifs in this post are made by me....I think I had more fun making these than I did playing the game! DRACARYS! :D

Everything is controlled with the mouse except sprinting which is activated with the shift key. To start flying we roll the mouse wheel forward,rolling it back we hover in place.

Left mouse button breaths out our flame attack, the right mouse button fires out a ball of fire which has a limited number of uses but crazy range.

If we press the mouse wheel button we go into dragon sense mode and get Predator style vision. The red blobs are enemies the green blobs are animals like fish and seagulls which can be eaten to replenish health.

Its pretty simple in nature but alot of fun.Aiden dosent care whether your an Allied or Axis solider ,he wants you of his island.

We fly around taking out soldiers, planes and boats.

Each time we complete a level we get a nifty little 1940s style video telling the story of what is happening. Its a very neat touch.

After completing the tutoril Aiden flys out of his cave to see what all the noise is about.

There are soldiers all over the island!....its DRACARYS time!

Once we take out the first wave of soldiers some spitfires show up...

With the Spitfires taken out its onto level 2.

The next level is a damaged battleship stranded out in the ocean on a beautiful moonlit night.

The difficulty on this level is much harder than the Island level. I will make a video for this and the following levels once I get have a bit more practice dodging all the machine gun fire.

Overall this games alot of fun at at only £3.99 id say its well worth picking up if this looks like your kinda thing.

I had fun making all these gifs and burning soldiers while shouting DRACARYS! :D
