For those who don't know, 6A refers to the grade of the boulder. The bigger the number, the harder it is, generally. Most of the 5 grades are easy for me, but some 6As are already so hard that I can't figure them out in a single session. I have done several 6Bs just in a single session, but this partiuclar one took probably 4 sessions to figure out. The beginning is highly phsycial with the undercling being the crux of the route. It's also technical and there's a particular sequence in order to get into the double undercling and past to the big sloper with a small swing.
To get on top of the big sloper was also suprisingly difficult: I struggled for a long time trying to get right foot first, but the position was too awkward for the knee to push up. I finally figured that you have to go left foot first. You need some good hip mobility to wiggle your foot into place.
This is a fun route and a great puzzle!
