Hello everyone in the Hive Open Mic community! Today I bring you a new cover and this time it's the hit song by the rock band Eagles, entitled "Hotel California". Known generation by generation, this song has established itself in several playlists as the most played song, for example, in the Billboard Hot 101, where it was positioned in the first place for a whole week. Undoubtedly a hit in the history of music.

The song was released in 1977 as a single and belongs to the album "Hotel California". The musical composition belongs to Don Felder who while practicing at his beach house, got some interesting chords to show the other members. Don Henley and Glen Frey were responsible for providing the lyrics. It tells the story of a traveler who, being too tired to continue driving on the road, feels attracted to a place, a hotel, which its members invite him to enter... He soon realizes that he will never be able to leave this place again. It is a haunting and enchanting track with its guitar riffs and vocals for the six minutes that make it up.

In some other interviews it was learned that the musicians had more to say about the song as it seems that during one of their hotel stays, they stayed at the Astor Towers in Chicago, they caused some damage that earned them about $28,000. That stayed in their minds and by changing some names and adding a paranormal context, this song was left. I must say that for obvious reasons I cut the song in part of the intro and the end, because of its length. I'd be hesitating for three minutes hahaha also, there were certain moments where I got confused with the lyrics and the melody but, I think it turned out well. ¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Hive Open Mic! El día de hoy les traigo un nuevo cover y esta vez se trata de la exitosa canción del grupo de rock, Eagles, titulada "Hotel California". Conocida generación por generación, está canción se ha establecido en diversas listas de reproducción como la más sonada, por ejemplo, en el Billboard Hot 101, dónde se posicionó en el primer lugar durante toda una semana. Sin duda alguna un exitoso dentro de la historia de la música.

La canción fue lanzado en 1977 como un sencillo y pertenece al álbum "Hotel California". La composición musical pertenece a Don Felder quién mientras practicaba en su casa en la playa, consiguió algunos acordes interesantes que debía mostrarles a los demás miembros. Don Henley y Glen Frey fueron los responsables de otorgarle una letra. La cual relata la historia de un viajero que al estar demasiado cansado para seguir conduciendo sobre carretera, se siente atraído por un lugar, un hotel del cual sus miembros lo invitan a entrar... Pronto se dará cuenta que de ese lugar no podrá salir nunca más. Es un tema sobrecogedor y encantador con sus riffs de guitarra y voces durante los seis minutos que lo conforman.

En algunas otras entrevistas se conoció la información de que los músicos tenían más que decir sobre la canción pues tal parece que durante una de sus estadías en hoteles, se quedaron en el Astor Towers en Chicago, causaron algunos destrozos que les valieron unos 28.000$. Eso quedó en la mente de ellos y cambiando algunos nombres y añadiendo un contexto paranormal, quedó está canción. Debo decir que por razones obvias corte la canción en parte de la introducción y el final, por su duración. Estaría vacilando durante tres minutos jajaja también, hubo ciertos momentos donde me confundí con la letra y la melodía pero, creo que quedó bien.
