Hello everyone! Today I bring you the fourth chapter of the Sims 2. A series that I've been doing for a few days now and you can find it in the following links to know the story that we have taken so far. This time, as you may know, things got a little out of control due to some situations. So without further ado, here is a little bit of what you will see in the video and some tips from the game that will help you to advance better in your gameplay.

In the last three chapters we were settling our Sim in his new home, supplying the home with useful things and looking for work and friendship relationships. In this play I had some unforeseen issues regarding her job title. My Sim is a teacher and little by little we have been adding skills so that she can level up in her job. Now, for those who know, when you accept a job it is common that random tabs appear where we are presented with a hypothetical case and the possible solution of this through two or three options. The thing is, it seems that I didn't make the right decision and my Sim has been downgraded.

¡Hola a todos! El día de hoy les traigo el cuarto capítulo de los Sims 2. Una serie que he estado realizando desde hace algunos días y que podrán encontrar en los siguientes enlaces para conocer la historia que hemos llevado hasta ahora. En esta ocasión, cómo sabrán, las cosas se fueron un poco de control debido algunas situaciones. Así que sin más, aquí les comento un poco de lo que verán en el vídeo y algunos consejos del juego que les ayudará ha avanzar mejor en sus jugadas ¡Comencemos!

En los tres últimos capítulos estuvimos acomodando a nuestro Sim en su nueva casa, suministrando el hogar de cosas útiles y buscando relaciones de trabajo y de amistad. En esta jugada tuve algunos imprevistos con respecto a su cargo laboral. Mi Sim es maestra y poco a poco hemos ido añadiendo habilidades para que está pueda subir de nivel en su trabajo. Ahora, para quien sabe, cuando aceptas un trabajo es común que tú suelan aparecer pestañas aleatorias dónde nos presentan un caso hipotético y la posible solución de este a través de dos o tres opciones. La cuestión es que, al parecer no tome la decisión adecuada y mi Sim ha sido rebajado de nivel.

For this kind of things not to happen, it is almost impossible to predict if our answer is the best or not because sometimes they are very irrational cases and it is difficult to understand which option is the ideal one. But there is always a solution. Something I have learned from the Sims is that it is certainly a game with a lot of jokes, satire and humor so you don't have to take some situations so seriously and go with the flow about it. For example, in case these "life or death" situations come up where you have to choose one or the other, try not to be so logical and go with the humor of the game. Chances are you'll get it right and earn a skill point, promotion or remuneration.

You can also gain more insight into this as you play the game and understand the pitfall of the issue or learn each dialogue to predict the best answer. Or just let the opportunity pass you by and prevent you Sim from suffering collateral damage. In any case there is always a way out of this, good or bad. Choose your path.

Para que esté tipo de cosas no sucedan, es casi imposible predecir si nuestra respuesta es la mejor o no ya que a veces son casos muy irracionales y cuesta entender que opción es la ideal. Pero siempre hay solución. Algo que he aprendido de los Sims es que ciertamente es un juego con muchas bromas, sátira y humor por lo que no hay que tomar tan en serio algunas situaciones y seguir la corriente al respecto. Por ejemplo, en caso de que aparezcan estas situaciones de "vida o muerte" en dónde debes elegir una u otra, intenta no ser tan lógico y sigue el humor del juego. Lo más probable es que aciertes y ganes un punto de habilidad, ascenso o remuneración.

También puedes obtener más entendimiento al respecto conforme vayas jugando y entiendas la trampa del asunto o aprendas cada diálogo para predecir la mejor respuesta. O simplemente dejar pasar la oportunidad y evitar que tú Sim sufra de los daños colaterales. En todo caso siempre hay como salir de esto, bien o mal parado. Elige tu camino.

Another issue I'll bring up here is the gameplay within the Downtown expansion. This time we entered the place for the first time but I hope not to say too much, for that I leave you the video. However some things you should know to have a good experience in the various places we can visit with our Sim or friends of our Sims. First you should know that you have the option to go out alone or accompanied by simply dialing on the phone to a cab (transport) to a Sim to invite him or Appointment. In either of these options you can go choose the community center you want to visit. Once done we will arrive quickly in the cab or car (own) to the place. There, we will have different options to interact: eat, play bowling, dance in the disco, go to the pool or jacuzzi, play cards and bet, drink some drinks, sing karaoke, among other things. It depends on what you are looking for and who you are with.

The fortunate thing about having the Downtown expansion is that you can meet more Sims who are not in your neighborhood and strike up new friendships and perhaps a possible love. Luckily, if you are not an extroverted Sim, it is usual to find NPC characters that call your house or you find in any community place to help you come out of your shell. They will seek your friendship and constantly invite you to social gatherings that bring as rewards a higher reputation and influence to order certain things to other Sims. If your Sim doesn't like parties as much, it's still good to take advantage of some invitations so that you Sim can get a head start on the rewards and of course, have some fun with it.

Otra cuestión que traeré por aquí es la jugada dentro de la expansión de Downtown o Centro Urbano. Está vez entramos por primera vez al lugar pero espero no decir demasiado, para ello les dejo el vídeo. Sin embargo algunas cosas que debes saber para tener una buena experiencia en los varios sitios que podemos visitar con nuestro Sim o amigos de nuestro Sims. Primero debes saber que tienes la opción de salir solo o acompañado marcando simplemente en el teléfono a un taxi (transporte) a un Sim para invitarlo o Cita. En cualquiera de estas opciones puedes ir elegir el centro comunitario que quieres visitar. Una vez hecho llegaremos rápidamente en el taxi o auto (propio) al lugar. Allí, tendremos diferentes opciones para interactuar: comer, jugar los bolos, bailar en la discoteca, ir a la piscina o jacuzzi, jugar cartas y apostar, beber algunos tragos, cantar el karaoke, entre otras cosas. Depende de lo que busques y con quien estés.

La fortuna de tener la expansión de Downtown es que puedes encontrar más Sims que no están en tu barrio y así entablar nuevas amistades y quizás un posible amor. Por suerte, sino eres un Sim extrovertido, es usual encontrar personajes NPC que llamen a tu casa o encuentres en cualquier lugar comunitario que te ayuden a salir del cascarón. Este buscará tu amistad y te invitará constantemente a reuniones sociales que traen como recompensan una mayor reputación e influencia para ordenar ciertas cosas a los demás Sims. Si tú Sim no gusta tanto de las fiestas, igual es bueno aprovechar algunas invitaciones para que tú Sim pueda obtener ventaja con las recompensas y cómo no, divertirse un poco con ello.
