Another week dispatched, and it's turned distinctly chilly with our first snow on Thursday night. After a busy weekend last week roasting a few hundred kilos on the Saturday and packing orders to be picked up on the Sunday - the week has followed on with a full on workload.
Surprisingly I've been using the smaller 5kg roaster during the week, just because it's easier to keep on eye on while packing coffee - and with hundreds of 250g retail packs to do for orders it's been a time consuming and tedious week.
Christmas blend is proving really popular, but everything is selling out quick and with such a big range of origins to roast it's a daily task to keep up.
And next week is already stacked up to be busy, as the orders continue to roll in and unexpected staff time off will mean it's going to be another gruelling workathon.
