April 30th, end of another month and for the business end of financial year - so that means stock take day and counting all the coffee sacks!

Last weekend featured a steady Saturday but busy Sunday dropping off some equipment and taking the opportunity to walk round a big park near Oldham - fortunately the weather held out for a relatively warm sunny day.

Back to work Monday and it’s been another hectic week keeping up for roasting coffee, running the 30kg on a few days and the 5kg for the rest - plus a demonstration on Tuesday for potential purchasers of a roaster.

The weather however has not been so good, colder with a bit of frost even - a fair bit of wind to go with it so even when the sun shines it’s been far from warm.

Thanks to my early morning starts for work I’m asleep pretty early most evenings, just a little time to rewatch the odd Grand Tour episode and work through old James Bond Movies- although they are so long it takes a few nights to get through them. This week Live and Let Die followed by The man with the golden gun. I’m going through by release date so a long way to go yet!

Short week next week thanks to the Bank Holiday, but I won’t be able to keep away from work the full weekend - always more roasting to do!
