Getting the hang of my big green coffee roasting machine, join me as the loader blows 30kg of green coffee beans into the hopper on top of the roaster, Then the touch profile system is set of and drops the green coffee into the drum at the set temperature, when the roasting begins. Throughout the roast subtle changes are made to gas, air flow and drum alignment to keep it all running smooth. Near the end the colour of the beans is checked and when the colour matches a previous roast for that blend they are dropped to cool quickly.
