    About :

Bake and Shark is the must have beach food of Trinidad that you can only get at the North Coast beaches such as Maracas. Continuing from our last vlog at Maracas, the sun had just set and it was finally time to get some nice food after a awesome bath in the ocean. Typically, Trinidadians and tourists alike indulge in the the bake and shark that is in abundance in Maracas. Interestingly, you cannot get it anywhere else! We headed to Havana Bake and Shark, just one of the many bake and shark establishments on Maracas beach. The shark fillet is seasoned and battered and then deep fried while the bake is a fried bread. They two create a scrumptious sandwich of sorts that are lovingly dressed with local sauces such as chadon beni, garlic sauce, pepper sauces and so on.

We also opted to try one of the new products from Havana called Shark Bites which are basically shark nuggets that are absolutely delicious. The best thing about Havana's bake and shark is that there is not fishy taste and everything is well seasoned meaning that even if you are not a fan of fish, you can still indulge!
