Este es un video súper especial, ya que estaré mostrando a lo largo de él, un proyecto super hermoso en el que estaré participando en conmemoración al Día de la Mujer!. Es un proyecto hermoso ya que su visión principal el mostrar a la mujer como centro del arte.

This is a super special video, as I will be showing throughout it, a super beautiful project in which I will be participating in commemoration of Women's Day! It is a beautiful project since its main vision is to show women as the center of art.

El video comienza hablando un poco y mostrando los instantes antes de montarme en el carro junto con mi contrabajo para ir camino al ensayo general. La verdad es que no pude grabar el trayecto ya que tenía que sostener el contrabajo, montarlo en el carro y pues este proceso es super complicado y no podía grabar jajaja.. Alguien de ustedes se imagina lo complicado que es meter un contrabajo tan grande en un carro?

The video starts talking a little bit and showing the moments before I get in the car with my double bass to go to the dress rehearsal. The truth is that I could not record the journey because I had to hold the bass, mount it in the car and this process is super complicated and I could not record hahaha .... Can anyone of you imagine how complicated it is to put such a big double bass in a car?

Entonces, al momento de llegar al teatro se encontraban probando sonido un dúo, dos chicas una cantando sus temas propios acompañada de una cellista que hacia un trabajo hermoso junto a la cantante. Luego, como casi éramos los últimos para ensayar, no monte en el escenario junto con una amiga desde la niñez. Ella también cantará temas propios, pero lo interesante y el reto de los temas con ella, es que me ha tocado crearles la línea del bajo y el acompañamiento! Esto me hizo muy feliz ya que mostraremos en el concierto también un poquito de mi.

Then, when we arrived at the theater there was a duo testing the sound, two girls, one singing her own songs accompanied by a cellist who did a beautiful job with the singer. Then, as we were almost the last ones to rehearse, I did not ride on stage with a childhood friend. She will also sing her own songs, but the interesting thing and the challenge of the songs with her, is that I had to create the bass line and the accompaniment! This made me very happy because we will also show a little bit of me in the concert.

Y para terminar, acompañe a una chica que canta hermoso. Ella cantará un bolero y un tema de Silvana Estrada llamado “Si me matan”. Este tema es muy significativo ya que esta dedicado a todas las mujeres que son asesinadas en México, son casi 10 diarias. Cantar y tocar sus temas es recordarlas y volvernos semillas para las que aun seguimos vivas.

And finally, I will accompany a girl who sings beautifully. She will sing a bolero and a song by Silvana Estrada called "Si me matan". This song is very meaningful because it is dedicated to all the women who are murdered in Mexico, almost 10 a day. To sing and play their songs is to remember them and become seeds for those of us who are still alive.
