This afternoon I found myself organizing some of my singing repertoire. As you can see below, apart from being a singer I'm also a bass player and a coworker, and there are days when I dedicate myself to rediscovering songs that I haven't sung for a long time, either because I have a very defined routine or because my repertoire has changed, which is very healthy.

But it's just as good to look back and find songs that fill our hearts and with which we have a lot of fun. Today I bring you "Inmortal".

"Inmortal" 😍 is the second single and the second track from La Oreja de Van Gogh's fifth studio album, A las cinco en el Astoria. The song debuted on the Los 40 principales (Spain) chart on November 8, 2008, entering at position 32 and on November 19 it debuted on Promusicae's Radio chart at position 14. The single has been certified Gold in Spain for legal downloads.

It talks about a relationship that has already ended; at all times she remembers what she lived with him, as seen in the phrases "yo tengo aquí bajo la cama cada madrugada que la deshicimos" and "tengo en uno de mis rizos el ritmo del tango que siempre bailabas"; he is very present in her, and she constantly thinks of him; as can be seen in "after you I understood that time does not make friends; how short love was and how long oblivion was" (the latter version of a verse from the twentieth poem of Pablo Neruda's book Veinte poemas de amor y una canción desesperada); but she still hopes to be able to return.
