Exploring "New" Kharkiv at -20° Celsius

In just the last 365 days, Kharkiv has taken a huge step towards the "future" direction. I loved in Ukraine for 6 years before moving back home in the UAE. Little did I expect so much to change in just a year's gap.

I have been to almost all corners of Kharkiv in the 6 years that I was here, but it feels like a whole new place now with so much to rediscover.

Initially, I left to explore a snow slide where people were enjoying the snow. Very soon I realized I wasn't in the place I thought I was going to. Yes, it's the same location, but the whole area is completely different.
Almost unrecognizable.

It made me want to document the entire journey. However, it also seems that I have forgotten where I'm in.

It's negative 20. Celsius. Fahrenheiters can do the calculations themselves.

And in this weather I chose not to take gloves with me. Nor did I put on my winter boots.

With a shaky hand, borderline frostbit fingers, numb toes and a shivering mouth I somehow documented everything.

But man. Will I think twice before doing the same, again.
