Discovering a peculiar human behavior which may or may not be geographically influenced.

Just like the title says, I began to notice a rather peculiar behavior that is different in different geographical locations within the same factors such as age, past experience and gender.
It may seem a bit strange, and it is.
However, through a completely objective view, the differences stand out and are true.
In many instances I have noticed these behaviors and how they differ in place to place.
These conclusions have grown through spending time with, directly and indirectly, the subject in discussion.
