Exploring The Spring Water Fountains of Sarzyhn Yar. Kharkiv, Ukraine.

In the series of exploring a new Kharkiv in negative 20 degrees celcius, I stumbled upon his ancient tourist attraction.
But this time, it had a modern touch to it.

The entire fountain has bewildered me for a long time. In all these years I have never tried the water from here. Back in the day I knew it as a place where the babushkas would come with a dozen bottles in trolleys.
But it looks like I was wrong.
This time I try the water and it tastes absolutely delicious.

Much of this free mineral water spring/well/fountain has been changed to fit the new generation. Not only is the dome now covered in shiny lights, there are multiple smaller fountains around the main attraction.

SO what changed?

Back in the day, the dome was slightly remodelled. Now it has been given an archtectural magic spell and has become what resembles that of a modern art piece. The main water supply has been redesgined which now allows mutlitple people to fill bottles with the yummy fresh water.
The well itself has been given a black tile design and it seems much of it has to be finished still.
Apart from that there are smaller wells with multiple fountains next to it.

The floor has been changed and there still is the shower from back in the day. There are kiosks around the fountain and more...
