The truth about the $3million desk.

In ridiculous purchases news; here is an office desk that costs $3 million.
Yes, you read that right. The desk sitting in this office costs more than a house, a little more than the Bugatti Chiron, and way more than sanity. Complete insanity, right?

The table is one of a kind, custom-built. It is owned by the high-lifestyle leading Manny Koshbin. A business mogul who had humble beginnings when he first came to the USA at the age of 14, fleeing from a war in Iran.
The man is known for many things. Especially as a multimillionaire who has his hands really deft in business. From real estate to trading commodities, he is a jack of all.
A man who build his empire by saving saving and saving. So why did he go carelessly all out on a table....for a whopping $3million?

The table is all aluminium, and held by 3000 screws. It has a carbon fiber bridge to hold the weight. It is shaped sleekly to resemble a fighter jet. It was engineered for months. It is bolted to the floor with 3 10 inches screws on 2 sides. But it doesn't even feature a nice drawer, just a slit!

Also, it weighs 1500 pounds (680 kg).

Madness, right?

Yes, it is an incredible form of art. It is one of a kind. Manny loves living huge! You can see it immediately in any of his videos.

But something didn't sit right with me. In the last 5 years I have thought about what a crazy purchase that office desk was...until today.
It is an epiphany of sorts.
