Working scales is a challenge to creativity, taking something apparently boring and repetitive and transforming it into a fun challenge to take on that makes us grow musically.
This is a small excerpt from a class with one of my students from Venezuela where we worked on his double tongue and at the same time reviewed the fingering of the high register, correcting small misunderstandings that hindered the correct execution of the highest notes of the scale.
