Hello to all the friends of the Full Deportes community! I hope you are having a beautiful day!

I'm back over here with some hikes. I had already started sharing them while I was traveling and now, although I'm having a hard time catching up in my city, I've decided to do it step by step.

In this post, besides the video sharing a little bit with you the place where I walked earlier, I would like to introduce something that sometimes makes us modify our sports habits and that is the mood.

Entonces muchos hábitos empiezan a cambiar.

Has it ever happened to you?

Has it ever happened to you that "you're down" and that translates to being listless in general, so you don't do too much physical activity?

I will give my example quickly without the intention of falling into egocentrism in the publication, but because maybe some of you feel identified and then this post can be useful to you.

In my case, it happened that while I was traveling I gained a few pounds that started to make me feel uncomfortable, my grandmother died, I returned to Argentina (that is, I put on hold that trip that was being my dream come true), I reunited with my family and friends, but I found myself in a totally new situation, and with certain factors that interfered with my balance.

So what happened? Although I am a Yoga teacher, first of all, I am a human being, and a trait of my personality is anxiety, something I have learned to control thanks to meditation and practice.

But in a situation where many factors move your livelihood, the reality is that it becomes difficult to keep all the shelves perfect and with their elements well ordered.

Then many habits start to change.

What about physical activity and why am I talking about this topic in this community?

Well, sport is something that can help us enormously when overcoming different challenging and difficult situations, as it helps us to release endorphins.

According to different sources, among which I will mention eldiario.es the ideal is to perform 10,000 steps per day or what would be the same, walk 8 km.

This, for some people may seem barbaric, and that is why in this case I will dare to recommend the same as suggested for Yoga: do what you can, but do something..

In Yoga, the ideal is to start with a few deep breaths, then pranayama, then mantra, then meditation, then warm up, then go to flow, then go to closing, savasana, pranayama, mantra, meditation.

That takes between 50 and 75 minutes, and some people already know that they have to spend all that time in a class, it stresses them out. Or they directly say, I don't have 50 minutes of my time for Yoga. Therefore, it is recommended to the person to do what he/she can, but to do it daily.

10, 15, 20 minutes, one hour. Do what you can every day to develop the habit. And little by little, he will increase that time.

I suggest the same for any physical activity, especially if the reason is reluctance.

Sometimes, putting the pressure to do that much time, while it may motivate some people, may stress and frustrate others.

And this is what I decided to do. My case luckily is not one of not wanting to do ANYTHING. I continue with my Yoga, with my meditation, with my walks, but unmotivated. I do it because I know it is good for me, but I do it less than before.

Z So today I said... I will do it without the pressure of, today I will walk in such and such a place because I feel like it.

In conclusion: TIPS FOR GETTING PHYSICAL ACTIVITY even when a difficult situation keeps you unmotivated to get started

If you don't feel like it, remember that physical activity is key for you to start regaining your enthusiasm and energy, and apply this: Do some physical activity for 10 to 15 minutes.

    • Do some physical activity 10 to 15 minutes a day for the first 10 days, then add 5 more minutes. Do this until you cover 40 minutes to 60 minutes of physical activity per day.
    • Choose something that you enjoy and that you know you can continue to do. That is, don't start swimming if you know you will stop going in the winter because of the cold (once you get into the habit, if you can add some temporary activity).
    • Leave the clothes ready to do that activity next to your bed and if necessary next to the door.
    • When the option of "do it tomorrow" pops up in your mind, ignore it completely and even don't let your mind finish the sentence, get on to doing anything else to fade that thought.
    • Create a personal mantra: I can, I love to play sports, I smile whenever I exercise, I am very active, I am energy are a few that can help you.
    • Visualize how good you will feel after those minutes of activity.

And remember that our body is made up of 70% to 80% water, so it NEEDS MOVEMENT. If you have a pond with stagnant water, it will generate insects, it will spoil, it will rot, it will generate bad odor. MOVE! To keep the water in your body fresh and renewed.
