My Top Retro 2021 Games - Commodore 64 and Atari XL/XE - Polish Commentary

This time a list of my Top Games for 8-bit machines, small Atari and Commodore 64. Other machines I didn't take into account, but I don't deny the fact that there are games for them, because certainly something was created for ZX Spectrum, Amiga, or Atari ST. But I also didn't have time and physical possibility to test everything that came out in 2021.

I was considering "Briley Witch Chronicles" by Sarah Jane Avora for Commodore 64, because it's a powerful RPG, based on those early NES jRPGs from the 80s (like early Final Fantasy games). It costs 22 US dollars. Unfortunately I didn't manage to play it, but I suspect that it has a chance to be the game of the year on Commodore 64.

I forgot to mention "Final Assault", a 3D FPS similar to "Wolfenstein 3D" or "Doom", but for... 8bit Atari. Normally it was a shock to me when I saw this game for the first time! As you can see another barrier for 8-bit machines has been broken. I knew I had forgotten something.

Tym razem zestawienie mojego Top Gier na maszyny ośmiobitowe, małe Atari i Commodore 64. Innych maszyn nie brałem pod uwagę, ale nie neguję faktu powstawania gier na nie, bo na pewno coś powstało na ZX Spectrum, Amigę, czy Atari ST. Ale też nie miałem czasu i fizycznej możliwości przetestować wszystkiego, co wyszło w 2021 roku.

Brałem pod uwagę grę "Briley Witch Chronicles" autorstwa Sarah Jane Avory na Commodore 64, ponieważ jest to rozbudowana gra RPG, wzorowana na tych wczesnych jRPG z NES-a rodem z lat 80. Giera jest rozbudowana i ma szansę zostać grą roku, ale... Kosztuje ona prawie 100 złotych. Niestety nie udało mi się w nią zagrać, ale podejrzewam, że ma ona szansę zostać grą roku na Commodore 64.

Jeszcze zapomniałem powiedzieć o "Final Assault", FPS-ie zrobionym w 3D wzorem z "Wolfenstein 3D" czy z "Doom", ale na... małe Atari. Normalnie to był dla mnie szok! Jak widać kolejna bariera dla maszyn ośmiobitowych została przełamana. Wiedziałem, że o czymś zapomniałem.
