Un resumen de los últimos dos meses

Estos últimos meses han sido intensos en mi hogar. La maduración colectiva de las plantas al sol. La llegada de nuevas amistades. Y el proceso de manicura.

Hola amantes de las plantas, conocen a este bichito amarillo y negro?

Yo no se su nombre, pero se está comiendo los thrips que atacan las hojas.

Los trips raspan las hojas para alimentarse, debilitando la planta, y dejan unas manchitas plateadas en sus hojas. Seguro los han visto antes...

Hay quienes recomiendan jabón potásico, o aceite de neem, o de canela pulverizado sobre las hojas.

Este amigable insecto amarillo beneficia también a las plantas al devorar sus plagas.

Y es bonito asi tan brillante je.

Cerrando el ciclo

Existen micro aventuras sucediendo en nuestro jardín.
También en la palma de nuestras manos.

Estas imágenes corresponden a una planta que amorosamente quiso crecer en mi backyard.

Entre al mundo del cannabis por el amor al efecto de sus flores, y me quedé por el amor al cultivo.
Germinar semillas, y verlas desarrollarse todos los días, salir afuera cuando está lindo el sol y ver sus hojas...

Cannabis Medicinal en Argentina

Desde hace dos años, Argentina permite el cultivo personal con fines medicinales.

Con una indicación médica se accede al derecho de cultivar hasta 9 plantas en el domicilio.

Se termina la paranoia por tener un porro en la calle.
Y yo pienso... De que manera podríamos acelerar la regulación del cannabis en todo el mundo? No les sigue pareciendo ridículo personas presas de por vida por tener una planta verde...

Mismo en Argentina, que está regulado, aún existen presos por cultivar. Sólo personas pertenecientes a las clases más bajas. Y como siempre es más fácil acceder a los derechos al tener dinero para pagar un médico (green doctor) que te firme la aprobación.

Pero aún más irónico es que los hijos de los políticos ya tenían derechos a cultivar extensiones inmensas desde mucho tiempo antes...

El panorama no es perfecto. Está mejor que antes, es verdad. Pero aún quedan muchas brechas, y desigualdades.

Creación de una nueva industria

Años de lucha y prohibición se terminan, y por lo que se ve, comienza a despertar todo un sector productivo marginalizado.
En Argentina recién este año están empezando a entrar semillas de genéticas reconocidas.
Y hace muy poco que puede compararse aceite de CBD en farmacias.
Y el proceso va a acelerarse con la ampliación de la ley de cannabis industrial, que permitirá sembrar cáñamo también, (tengo entendido que se utiliza para fabricar tejidos más resistentes que el jean y más suaves que el algodón, también cuerdas muy resistentes, etc).

Siento que se vienen flores cada vez mejores. Este nuevo giro del destino abre un horizonte de posibilidades para conectarnos con la naturaleza en todas sus formas.

These last few months have been intense in my home. The collective maturation of plants in the sun. The arrival of new friends. And the manicure process.

Hello plant lovers, do you know this yellow and black bug?

I don't know his name, but he is eating the [thrips] (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrips) </ sup> </ center> that attack the leaves.

Thrips scrape the leaves to feed, weakening the plant, and leave silvery spots on the leaves. I'm sure you've seen them before...

There are those who recommend potassium soap, or neem oil, or cinnamon sprayed on the leaves.

This friendly yellow bug also benefits plants by devouring their pests.

And it's beautiful so bright heh.

Closing the loop

There are micro adventures happening in our garden.
Also in the palm of our hands.

I entered the world of cannabis for the love of the effect of its flowers, and I stayed for the love of cultivation.

Medical Cannabis in Argentina

For two years, Argentina has allowed personal cultivation for medicinal purposes.

And only recently has CBD oil been available for purchase in pharmacies.
And the process is going to speed up with the expansion of the industrial cannabis law, which will allow hemp to be planted as well (I understand that it is used to make fabrics that are more resistant than jeans and softer than cotton, also very resistant ropes, etc.) .
