Buenos días, tardes o noches a toda la bonita comunidad de @alienarthive en HIVE, los saludo nuevamente y espero se encuentren todos excelente.
Hoy les traigo un diseño épico. Me fascinan este tipo de temas, sobre todo las espadas, por lo que quise reflejar cuan está unida la espada al guerrero o a la inversa, tanto que forma parte de su ser, su interior, su piel, su vida.
No sólo me refiero a los guerreros de antaño, sino la los actuales que luchan día a día por la libertad y la vida.
Los escritos que están debajo del diseño son siempre escritos por mí, inspirados en el diseño.
Good morning, afternoon or evening to all the beautiful community of @alienarthive on HIVE, I greet you again and I hope you are all feeling great.
Today I bring you an epic design. I'm fascinated by this kind of themes, especially swords, so I wanted to reflect how the sword is linked to the warrior or vice versa, so much that it is part of his being, his interior, his skin, his life.
I am not only referring to the warriors of yesteryear, but to the warriors of today who fight day by day for freedom and life.
The writings below the design are always written by me, inspired by the design.
Proceso del diseño
Está realizado y editado en Photoshop con 3 imágenes y 17 capas.
Para el fondo elegí una imagen de un castillo medieval con fondo de tormenta, de esa imagen realicé 3 capas con los siguientes modos: normal, superponer y luz fuerte.
La segunda imagen es la de un rostro masculino, al cual le realice barba, ya que no tenía originalmente.
De la imagen del rostro realicé tres capas: normal, superponer y luz suave. Sobre la capa normal le aclare los ojos casi a blanco con la herramienta sobreexponer.
La barba la realice clonando cabello de la imagen del hombre para que tuviera la misma tonalidad. De ella hice dos capas con modos de fusión aclarar y superponer.
Luego en capas vacías realice manchas con pinceles parecidos a sangre. Tres manchas en tres capas diferentes con modos de fusión multiplicar. Esas tes capas a su vez las dupliqué y a todas les di un estilo de capa de bisel y relieve para hacer la sangre más realista.
La última imagen utilizada es la espada, le borre el fondo y la coloque sobre el rostro borrando parte de su lado izquierdo para fusionarla con la piel, dando el efecto de incrustada. La dupliqué y a la primera le di el modo luz suave y la segunda luz lineal. A ambas le di un estilo de capa de sombra paralela para generar su sombra sobre el rostro.
La animación la realice totalmente en After Effects, utilizando efectos de luces y trabajando las imágenes en su opacidad, eso hace que aparezca o desaparezca una determinada capa, y escala, dando la sensación de movimiento.

Design process
It is made and edited in Photoshop with 3 images and 17 layers.
For the background I chose an image of a medieval castle with a stormy background, from that image I made 3 layers with the following modes: normal, superimpose and strong light.
The second image is that of a male face, to which I made a beard, as he didn't have one originally.
From the image of the face I made three layers: normal, overlay and soft light. On the normal layer I lightened the eyes almost to white with the overexpose tool.
The beard was made by cloning hair from the man's image so that it had the same tonality. I made two layers with blending modes lighten and overlay.
Then in empty layers I made stains with brushes similar to blood. Three spots on three different layers with blending modes multiply. I duplicated those three layers and gave them all a bevel and relief layer style to make the blood more realistic.
The last image used is the sword, I erased the background and placed it over the face erasing part of its left side to merge it with the skin, giving the effect of embedded. I duplicated it and gave the first one a soft light mode and the second one a linear light. I gave them both a parallel shadow layer style to generate her shadow on the face.
The animation was made entirely in After Effects, using light effects and working the images in their opacity, that makes a certain layer appear or disappear, and scale, giving the sensation of movement.
