One of my favorite singers had her birthday yesterday! Her name is Hatsune Miku (初音ミク) which means "The first sound of future" in Japanese. The difference between her and other singers is that she is a virtual singer! Its been a long time since I drew digital art so it was a real struggle to make this drawing. Also I've never drew in this style! I drew her as any other person who had birthday in this quarantine.

I know about Hatsune Miku thanks to my PSP game Project DIVA (初音ミク -Project DIVA-) which is a 2009 rhythm game created by Sega and Crypton Future Media for the PlayStation Portable. I've enjoyed the game very much so I've decided to know more about Hatsune.
Vocaloid (ボーカロイド, Bōkaroido) is a singing voice synthesizer software product. Its signal processing part was developed through a joint research project led by Kenmochi Hideki at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain in 2000 and was not originally intended to be a full commercial project.Backed by the Yamaha Corporation, it developed the software into the commercial product "Vocaloid" which was released in 2004. The software enables users to synthesize "singing" by typing in lyrics and melody. It uses synthesizing technology with specially recorded vocals of voice actors or singers. To create a song, the user must input the melody and lyrics. A piano roll type interface is used to input the melody and the lyrics can be entered on each note. The software can change the stress of the pronunciations, add effects such as vibrato, or change the dynamics and tone of the voice.
What I like the most of Hatsune Miku,is that anybody who wants to write and publish her song can do it. Even if their song is happy or sad or terribly heavy. Hatsune Miku is in one way like the voice of the future humanity because her technology is incredible and she is the singer with more songs than any other in the history. Her voice register and capacity are limitless and if you have luck, your songs may appear in Magical Mirai (Magical Future in japanese), a concert with virtual singers who sing their best songs.
